Martinkk that's the latest scam. Asking for a "friend" to help them get a forgotten password link. The only link you would get if you followed their steps would be to reset the password for your own account.

I’m getting so many similar scam messages from hackers at the moment. It’s rife. I have a few accounts and I get about 2-3 messages per day.
It usually starts with something like:
“I need a favour from you, can you help”
“How are you doing, hope I’m not bothering you but I need your help”
It’s not usually someone I know and I don’t event start the conversation, I just delete and block then and there….so if you ever message me on social media don’t start the conversation like that!

I don't put email or phone numbers on my IG anymore....... Too many timewasters IMHO. Maybe they duplicated your phone number. It's piss poor that people want to ruin other peoples IG experience.....
I looked for the account rowdy9k but I couldn't find them (as I was also going to help you by reporting them)
