Camping & Late Cancellations

'Camping On' the phenomenon / practice of members popping themselves down on an event page as 'attending' with no intention of coming or do not meet the criteria of being able to attend.

Signs of camping on: A member pops themselves down as attending but does not interact with you when you pass on details, ask for deposits etc etc...just silence...

Popping yourself down as 'maybe coming' is great, it doesn't affect the actual event dynamics i.e. how many people are coming. 

If a potential attendee looks at the event page they will assess = I would anyway how many people are down for attending and who they are = do you?

So 'Camping On' pitching your imaginary tent on an event page and saying your attending.

When really your just there for the view.

Many changes, some good, some bad, have been made in the last couple of generations. 

And some before.

The attitude to value and money and accounting of recent generations is a foreseeable result of the changed pressures on them.

I think we could have done better, and should have, in some ways.

Chris Barral but he’s seen the event. He won’t see the casting as he isn’t a female model. I would recommend being specific in the event
