If someone gave you $20,000 tomorrow, what would you spend it on?

New computer. Pay models for shoots. Holiday. The rest I’d give to animal charities.

When I and others said 20K isn't life changing for us, but smaller sums could make a step change for other people - this is the kind of example we were thinking of (well I was anyway).

As a whole, it's heartwarming to see that many would donate all or some to charity or worthwhile causes, and for some, it might change their fortunes.

I wish I could but personally, I don't have any money to spare or saved and I do already contribute about 10% of my earnings to worthwhile causes each month.

But, you'll see why I asked the question soon enough I hope :-)

All kidding a side. Today the wife and I contributed a serious sum to the Dutch media charity raised for Ukraine (an all day collaboration of 10 radio stations nation wide).

Not 20k, but I could have bought a new set of Elinchromes for that too.

I think I'd finally learn to drive, doing one of those week-long driving pass courses, then buy a car.
Donate some to a wildlife sanctuary.
Finally buy some decent clothes instead of feeling guilty for wanting to buy a £50 pair of jeans!
Attend an acting workshop and maybe hire an agent as I've wanted to be on TV and in movies since I was a kid.

A new kitchen!...
