Hi everyone! Just wanted to share that I was contacted recently by BBC Radio Oxford to be interviewed by the lovely Fleur Ostojak about my experiences of what it's like to be a nude model.
I was a bit nervous as had never spoken on radio before, but said yes - and I really enjoyed our conversation and the chance to reflect on the nude modelling industry.
If you'd like to listen, here's the link on BBC Sounds, available for 29 more days: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09f6ldc
It was broadcast yesterday evening, and my chat with her is split into two parts, beginning just before the 1h11min mark and then again at around 1h19.
There is so much I could have said in response to her interesting questions (e.g. she asked me about misconceptions about the industry, how I have the confidence to do it, whether or not it's liberating, how things have been through lockdown, how Leafology has been keeping me busy, etc. etc.) and I couldn't possibly have fit everything in to a fairly short conversation - I am actually writing a book about life as a nude model, bit by bit - but I loved sharing a small part of this world with the wider public.
I'm loving this evening series Fleur's doing - she's been speaking to some really interesting people. Highly recommended and I'm really happy and honoured to be a part of it!
