What's the most exciting shoot you've got lined up for after the lockdown?

Here's mine:

The leading lady and I were due to have a test makeup session for the zombie effects, just before production was paused. I can't wait to get started again!

I'm going back to South Africa on Safari.
Whilst I shall have my fingers crossed for a Honey Badger and/or a Pangolin,  I'm quietly confident that there will be more Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Hippo and Crocodiles.  Any of those whilst on foot will be VERY exciting!

I don't have anything lined up firmly, but one of the quirks of the coronavirus era is that a friend of mine who has modelled for me several times, who was travelling the world and therefore only available for infrequent shoots, is now stuck in glum Tunbridge Wells, so when the lockdown is over we will do at least one more shoot. Though I hope she can travel again soon.

I have nothing planned as it will be June at the earliest for me to able get out and about again. I have a few shoots to rearrange once I have the all clear.

I have two shoots out doors to look forward too, which will involve some special effects and photoshopping. :)

I also have another two sorted for some boudoir photos. I'm busting for this to be over.

I want to photograph a nice double figure carp on the bank of my favourite fishery. Or a single figure carp, or a roach, or a gudgeon....anything will do!

The one shoot I had been looking forward to so much now sadly won’t be possible as it was going to be a cherry blossom shoot :( But there is always next year! :)

As it would seem that I will be in lockdown for 12 months, it is impossible to even think about another shoot.

I can only think my photo graphic life has ended.

I'll be on the first flight to Bucharest, I should be there now... :-(

I only have one model shoot lined up which was postponed from just before the lockdown (Fri 20 March). It is with Marie Jean Taylor and so it should be fabulous! The thing I find so difficult about the lockdown is the lack of definition of an end game. I would not be able to even estimate when we will be in a position to re-commence model shoots, and from what I have seen, neither is anybody else.

I prefer to hold my model shoots at my studio which has now laid unused for around 6 weeks. I am still committed to the rent on the unit but the usage at the moment is zero. When there is any relaxation of the lockdown, models are still going to have to travel, possibly by train if they do not drive. I think the ability to carry out social distancing may be compromised. The official line at present seems to be that social distancing will need to be maintained indefinitely, so I really do not know.

I do miss shooting and I am determined to try and get to do more location shoots and drag myself out of the studio, so the eventual fall out from Covid-19 could provide the ideal opportunity to travel out and work some locations. Who knows? - Take care all!)

I’m really looking forward to working with you again Roger once we’re all given the all clear to resume normal life once again. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re still liable for paying the rent on your studio.... that’s mega hard when finances have come to a grinding halt. X

I had a shoot lined up with a model coming from Australia, one from Russia, one with a UK model who was going to book her flight the day lockdown was announced and one with a model who has been here before.  How do you choose?  Then there are those others who have expressed interest.  Given that I would have been busy for the better part of the summer, any shoots will be exciting.

Would it be possible for your photographer to get out locally and shoot the Cherry Blossom or for you to shoot some locally. The magic of photoshop should permit the combining of images of you and the Cherry Blossom at some future point. Way outside my capabilities I am afraid but I am sure there are plenty of folk on here who could carry it off with aplomb! Just an idea/ramble :)

Mr Pea.  I can see I'll have to give you a good talking to!!!

I do appreciate that you have your own particular (and to my eyes, excellent) MO, but if you have any motivation to do something, you could do far worse than contacting Natasha J Bella about one of her remote shoots.  She's very skilled, imaginative and although you won't have the same flexibility you'd have with you walking / crawling about to shoot, I strongly suspect you might have a good shoot.
