I'm thinking of hiring a couple of animals for a mini group shoot.  I've been looking for a while and recently discovered an exotics company has opened up near us.  The plan would be to have a model posing with them of course, but I guess there is the option to shoot just the animals in a completely different concept too.  This being Purpleport however, and portraits being my thing, it was my first intention to have them alongside a model.

There are no set days and times yet, I was just wondering if this is something photographers may be interested in, and then we can riff off some ideas and prices so I can work out the logistics and get something booked in.  For instance, let's say we have five photographers and a different animal each hour.  This leaves us with 10 minute windows for each photographer for a 1on1, and a 10 minutes for stuff.. aka change over, swapping triggers, just a bit of failsafe right.  We could speed this up with using continuous light, but personally I prefer strobes - how about you?

However, I'm not a massive fan of isolating people for 50 minutes of each hour, and while it would be a nice social event too, is there a way we could make it more consistent through out the hour?  Lets say we scrap ten minutes and work on a handful of poses that rotate through the photographers steadily for the duration with them able to add their own pose tweaks in their few minutes before a bigger pose change?  Or would you prefer more control in your slot so you're not getting such similar images to everyone else?

What is the group set up worth to people knowing that you'll have (lets say ten minute window for now) with each animal and the model one on one? £40ph, so £80 for the two hours?

What are people preferred days and times?  Weekends?  Evenings?

A more alternative model who looks like they'd own the animal?  A softer beauty vibe/juxtaposition?

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts and whether you'd be interested!?
