MONDAY MOTIVATION

"Had the pleasure of spending a few hours in Russ' studio on one of his arranged shoot days. What a brilliant place. The studio itself is very well equipped with plenty of lighting options and modifiers. We then moved into the grand hallway for some elegance and in the end we totally lost track of time and I could have easily spent 8 hours there and not just the 4 we had booked.

From the friendly welcome by him and his family, the supply of coffee and general friendliness I look forward to being able to use this space again in the future. There is literally not enough that they can do for you when you shoot there." - Granettalia

POOL UPDATE


If you often read my castings, you may recall that I mentioned we were having the boiler serviced today, welllll, we're getting a new one.

So what does this mean?

It means the pool will not be heated for the next week or two.. it's still usable if you are feeling brave as a model, but it may be a wee bit cold!  Hey, aren't cold dips all the rage for health these days?  Anyways, we can however still use the room as a backdrop, which is normally killer as a photographer as it gets up in to the 30's, so in that respect, if you're not a fan of heat, it may be more bearable, so now could be the time to shoot around it!  It's estimated that the new boiler will go in next week, and it could take a week for the heat to catch up in the water.
