I've tagged a few areas as this casting as it is intended to reach none local models who tour the UK and host successful studio days.  The studio day will be in Rhyl, North Wales. 

Please read before replying.. for instance, simply replying "interested, more information please" with no invested interest bespoke to what is written will be considered as a non-acceptable and not a serious response, which is unfortunately only too common with on PP with those who haven't bothered reading past the title -  you'll have to have killer feedback and an irresistible look for that to be remotely passable.

I'm looking to update my books for potential studio day models, but having said the above, I do not mind if you're not a full time model as long as you've put in solid shifts to build your abilities and/or reputation either across PP or other social channels, plus it does without saying, have solid communication and reliability.  We are not a money pit, so just because you see others do sell out days here doesn't mean that you will as a hobbyist with no rep that barely tries.  It's a collaboration deal between the studio and the model where both parties promote the events for the interest of all involved.  I've had models with big followings on occasion struggle to sell a day out as we are not like a local city studio with small cheap group shoots that will sell well regardless, instead people will travel hours to use us for one on one time with a strong model they can't resist shooting.. and sometimes that comes down to timing too.  Typically we look for models who do fashion to lingerie, but art nude isn't an issue either.  We're not interested in adult.  I'd say more often than not that doing levels up to lingerie will greatly improve the chances of a day's success, but it isn't always necessary, and of course you'll dictate you levels well in advance.  Ultimately, the more flexibility and the wider the appeal that you have, the more chance of attracting a bigger cross section of photographers of course - but that's not saying that if you have a killer niche, that wouldn't be be exciting to enough people either.

Bonus points if you're an Asian or Black model as we have plenty of White models booked in currently! 

As suggested, we are looking for strong models, so if you want a marker as to a comparison (I know I know, comparing people is unfair, but comparing abilities / appeal within an industry standard is however just being realistic), here's some past and future days we have (had) at the studio. If you regularly knock out images as strong as those on these flyers, then a studio day could be for you!  Keep reading after the flyers..

 



As you've probably gathered, I'm pretty forward as there should be no surprises for either of us.  I want people to be as comfortable as possible so I can communicate facts on to photographers and you know what is expected and feel safe, well and happy with the expected levels you've agreed on etc.  In reality I'm laid back and a pussy cat in person, but that's mostly because I've afforded myself that by making sure the important shit has been discussed well advance.

If you've gotten this far and believe you're a good fit, please let me know your rates including travel to LL18 3AY - ultimately it'll have to be logistically viable of course as we can't charge London rates to photographers in North Wales, but by all means let me know and I'll tell you if it's something we can work with or not. We don't really offer tiered rates as we do not know if a photographer wants to shoot fashion or lingerie in advance, that's often the flexibility expected a studio days.  You could find people just choose to shoot fashion for their entire time while you've been charging lingerie or even art nude rates, so a compromise between the two if you tier your rates would be ideal - I never really understood tiering to be fair, as you're you regardless and tiers should really be introduced for commercial viability, which is where higher levels typically make more money.  You do you and what you're comfortable with, but most studio day photographers will not be shooting with any commercial aspects in mind and it would be a pretty grey area if they were using a studio day to do so without communicating it in advance.  The point of a studio day really is the intention of getting a full days work and passing on those reduced day rates for a day's booking on to those in attendance, and thus everyone wins - the studio is full, your day is full, and the photographers gets a little deal.

As a studio space, we can also give you free accommodation the night before and the night of too - I'd say about 80% of studio day models stay, so feel free to reach out to past studio day models for references..  You are also welcome to use the pool in your leisure should you wish.  I'll probably feed ya and make you plenty of tea too, but if you don't fancy that there are local shops walking distance and takeaways available on most popular apps.  If it's nice, there's strolls on the beach to be had.   There's also a bunch of castles within an hour too, or even Snowdonia, so there loads to do if you fancy exploring after your day and turning it in to an adventure.
