South coast photoshoots - 10/11th Aug - TFP - Fashion to swimwear..........

I'm planning to head down to somewhere on the South Coast area the weekend of 10th & 11th August 2019 and I'd like to try and fit a few photoshoots in whilst there. I haven't picked the specific area yet as I wanted to cast out to see what the options are, who's available and interested in working with me, hence this is a fairly broad area casting call.

Shoot Styles:

I'm thinking outdoor location shoots, as it will be summer it's obviously going to be glorious weather...........famous last words!!

Whilst I'm flexible on specific styles my plan is to stick to fashion to swimwear genres. I prefer to tailor a specific shootplan and style with the successful model/s: so keeping within those broad styles I am completely flexible on what we work to on each of the shoots I book in. Whether you're only happy to work to fashion, happy with the idea of a beach shoot and would like to concentrate on swimwear styles, or would like to work on both themes in the same shoot, incorporate some beach-fashion as well etc etc.

I'm also looking to work on more dance-themed photoshoots as well, so if this is something you'd like to shoot then we can plan a shoot around this concept.

Specific shoot locations I have in mind could be anything from urban-based, rural, parks etc, seafront, beaches etc etc. If you have any local knowledge on cool places to shoot that we could use please do mention them as that could be a big help. Otherwise I'm happy trawling through websites and google maps to find places.

Minimum shoot length can vary, but ideally need to be minimum 3-4 hours to be productive I think. I have a number of moodboards already in place for ideas covering all the styles I've mentioned, all here:

.....whilst these are used as inspiration, and there are enough ideas there to fill hundreds of photoshoots (!), my philosophy is that they act as a general styling guide and for shoot ideas if needed. I don't want to exactly recreate these ideas, in all honesty most of my photoshoots end up being driven by the combination of mine and the models creativity, the flow of ideas on the photoshoot itself and ultimately what outfits the model has to model in.

Shoot Basis - TFP preferred

Whilst I would prefer applications to this casting on a full TFP-basis, I am happy to consider part-pay/part-TFP if you cannot work completely TFP. Let me know your rates if applying on this basis. In all cases I am happy to cover reasonable travel expenses if applicable.

In terms of providing images, the total is dependent on the number of sets we fit in:

- Full TFP - You have free choice to select what you want from all useable images we capture. I set a rough limit of 3-5 images per set, so 4 sets would equate up to roughly 20 images. I am flexible on this though, as long as you don't go mad and pick all/most of them! I generally provide the final edits within 3-4 weeks of you picking them.

- Part-pay/part-TFP - as above but less. I am flexible on this to a degree, so if you're flexible with your part-pay rate I am sure we can come to an agreement on image numbers. As with TFP, final edits delivered within 3-4 weeks of you picking them.

Ideally the successful model will be happy to do their own hair & makeup and have suitable clothes to model in. Please just confirm that you're happy with this when applying, along with the basis you are applying (TFP or part-pay), rates if applicable, whether you'd need travel covering and if there is any particular time or day over that weekend that you cannot do.

Once I have a specific area fixed, I'll probably aim to book an airbnb to stay at (rather than a generic hotel), so in case of bad weather that may be an option to shoot at if I can find somewhere suitably photogenic. I'd prefer not to go down that route if possible as a re-think for the whole photoshoot would be needed, but something to bear in mind as a backup.
