Adding PurplePort emails to your Safe Senders list (or Whitelist)

By ScottWatson, written 1413570186

We provide a range of customisable email notifications to help you stay connected with creatives in the PurplePort community (including your followers, castings/events in your area, activity on your account and more).

If you have switched off email notifications, it's still essential that PurplePort emails can reach your inbox for other things, such as resetting your password and notifying you about support tickets from our Support Team.

Why add PurplePort to your Safe Senders/Whitelist?

Some Email Service Providers (ESPs) block or delay emails they identify as spam, and we have found that some ESPs will do this (such as Hotmail, Live, Outlook and AOL) even with emails from a legitimate source such as PurplePort.

To ensure you don't miss out on important emails from us, we recommend adding PurplePort to your Safe Senders list or Whitelist. Without this, emails from PurplePort could be diverted to a different folder (e.g. junk/spam) instead of your Inbox or may not even arrive at all.

Adding PurplePort to your Safe Senders list or Whitelist also ensures that if you need to reset your password or contact our Support Team by a support ticket, these emails will arrive in your inbox (instead of being diverted to your spam/junk folder or not arriving at all),

How to add PurplePort to your Safe Senders/Whitelist

The domain or email to use is purpleport.com and/or donotreply@purpleport.com.

Below are 'how to' guides (for the most common email service providers) with steps you can follow for adding someone to your Safe Senders list or Whitelist:

FAQs

What can I do if I'm getting too many emails from PurplePort?

You can choose which emails you do and don't want to receive from PurplePort. Click here to switch off the email notifications you don't want to receive. You can also find a link to Update your email preferences at the bottom of every email we send you.

What should I do if I find PurplePort emails in my spam/junk folder?

Please move PurplePort emails from your spam/junk folder into your inbox. Leaving them in your spam/junk folder will tell your email service provider that you don't want to receive emails from us, which will stop you from receiving important emails from us.
