I have been modelling across the globe for nine years and I can honestly say that Phil (The studio owner) is the most welcoming and nicest people you can meet in the industry.

As soon as I drove up outside I was instantly greeted

The space is very versatile to work in, The natural light that moves around the building is wonderful to explore, especially if you're blessed with bright sunlight to add amazing shadows of the windows on the wooden floor and walls.

An excellent space and I always felt so fully looked after from the moment I arrived to leaving.

I already look forward to my next visit to The Boardroom in September

Very very very highly recommended by me to all models and photographers!

My first visit to The Boardroom but it won’t be my last!

I’ve often admired the images captured in this beautiful studio and I finally got to understand at first hand. The space is beautifully presented so that the natural light bounces around seemingly forever! Of course it’s possible to control this and mix strobes with the ambient to create some unique images.

Phil is a fabulous host; as helpful as you require and has a canny knack of anticipating your issue and helping solve it almost before you realise you have one! But for the most part he is happy for you to get on with the shoot undisturbed.

Highly recommended indeed - I guarantee you will create beautiful images and something very different from the norm in this unique studio.

WOW! What a stunning space *heart eyes*

Phil was so lovely on arrival, he kindly helped me and El with our bags and offered coffee & chocolate :P it was orange dairy milk I've never had before it was delish!

It was lovely to meet Arabella, too!

Phil had set the lighting up before we arrived and let Dean know it was set up exactly how he usually likes it, which was so nice of him to prepare.

The studio is beautiful and clean. It is a grand space with lots of gorgeous natural light. I loooove the windows

Me and El were warm and comfortable throughout our shoot. I thought the makeshift dressing area was really clever! It can be moved anywhere I love it. Also the main entrance staircase is stunning I would like to shoot there next time. I hope to return again soon!

Where to start!

I shot with Rapture Photography and from the moment I walked in I was in awe. This was my first studio shoot and also my first time at The Boardroom so I was a little bit nervous but Phil made me feel welcome and relaxed.

The studio is absolutely gorgeous with endless amounts of areas for sets, from the first set we did, more and more ideas came flooding.

One thing for sure is I will definitely be returning here. I couldn’t recommend this place enough

I did my first shoot here at The Boardroom Studio yesterday. I was really looking forward to it as I had seen loads of great images that had been created there and I wasn't disappointed. Phil who owns the studio couldn't of been more helpful. The studio has huge windows which makes it ideal for shooting with natural light. Unfortunately yesterday the poor weather meant the window light wasn't very good. As Phil has a large selection of studio lighting to choose from this didn't create a problem. I will definitely be shooting there again in the future and I can highly recommend it to any photographer or model looking for a great studio to shoot in.

Wow, what a studio!

The boardroom has been on my bucket list for ages and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to shoot here whilst on my tour.

Phil, the host was amazing, very accommodating and friendly and also helped with my bags (Thank you!)

We even managed to squeeze in a quick shoot too!

I had a wonderful afternoon and can’t wait to shoot here again!

First time up at the Boardroom today and what can I say….what a space, what a host, what strange tea :) Phil was brilliant all day long! Even forewarning me and redirecting me as I was on my way up after some last minute road changes…meant i got there with plenty of time to go and Phil showed me round and then nothing was too much bother throughout the shoot…whether it was lighting changes, backdrop changes and even helping me with a weird camera issue. He’s there on hand if needed but stays out of your way and just lets you get on…and a really good crack. Just the perfect studio host. Top gent, I will definitely be back now that I know what an epic shoot you can have there.

The boardroom studio is so elegant and beautiful. The natural light beaming through the big fabulous windows that bounces off the ornate white walls is amazing.

Phil is a lovely fella who makes the best cuppa too! He popped my biscuit tea cherry which i have to say was delightful haha

I highly recommend, the studio and the biscuit tea :)

There are studio and then their is the boardroom.

I have been in hundrededs over the years, but this is by far one of the absolute best. Such great natural light, lighting that actually works and is not held together with chewing gum and tape. Phil, the studio owner, is such a helpful guy and his knowledge of lighting is second to none.

I have been their a few times now and enjoy it every time. looking forward to more visits in the new year.

My first visit to The Boardroom and hopefully one of many! Lots of natural light which is easily controlled via shutters and a good selection of lights and modifiers for when the sun doesn't play ball. Phil is a welcoming and knowledgeable host who lets you get on with your shoot but is at hand if needed for advice - and to top it all the studio is actually in the town centre so my wife could go shopping while i enjoyed myself!

Had a shoot with Serenity at The Boardroom this morning and as a studio it was everything that I was looking for. As others have said, the natural light is absolutely awesome!

The studio is easy to find, in the Cathedral Quarter of the city. I have mobility problems but access to the studio was no problem at all. The studio has a variety of props, but the main attraction for me was the amazing natural light - if natural light is your thing then you really have to shoot here! Owner Phil was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. All in all, The Boardroom is a studio that I recommend very, very highly and I will certainly be back.

I’ve just returned from two days shooting at this fabulous studio! It was such a productive and enjoyable couple of days!!

Phil hosted me for two studio days and I also shot with him for 4 of those hours. The studio is absolutely amazing for capturing natural light images and is a great space overall. The images on here speak for themselves in showing how much variety you can achieve in one room! The windows in the studio have shutters so you can control the light and capture high key as well as more moody looking shots. There are also a variety of props/backdrops/outfits which really help to make the studio even more diverse.

Phil is a fabulous studio owner and a lovely person. He was warm, friendly and made me feel incredibly welcome. He is also an extremely talented photographer, capturing different sides of me (which was extremely refreshing). He was also very attentive and helpful when the other photographers were shooting with me - nothing was ever too much trouble.

I felt very comfortable and relaxed whilst working here and just wish it was more local for me! All the photographers I worked with over the two days were really pleased with the results and images we captured.

The studio is also very easy to find and easily accessible. It’s definitely up there as one of my favourite studios to work at. Thank you so much for having me!

I would highly recommend the studio and Phil to models and photographers alike.
