References for Millwood Photography Studio

I started going to Millwood Photography Studio about September to a Andrew Appleton workshop and I when the next Thursday to a group evening where they had dancers in for the photography group, then there's been another evening with burlesque dancing, body paint, cars, motorbikes and more. I've been there regular, Paul and Jamie, they always make me feel welcome and I feel at home there.

It's a fantastic environment in an old but newly refurbished building with lots of space, old wood beams, old stone walls, large white room and lots of props. I've been to other studios but this is one is most probably the best one.

When I turned up to the studio I was blown away. The studio is immaculate and is a pleasure to be in. Both photographers in the studio were very helpful, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I am excited to work with Millwood again. What a pleasure, highly recommend.

Another trip to Millwood for the day, this time for a body painting shoot. As ever Paul and Jamie were hospitable ensuring brews were available and helping out. The day included four models in different styles of body paint, perfectly suited to the many shooting areas around the studio. As a venue it has everything a model or photographer needs.

Super studio and staff....."Millwood" is my favorite studio in the North West!

Run by friendly Jamie and Paul; pro' togs ...it's fully comprehensive for all my studio requirements and very helpful and friendly to any photographer, model or makeup artist etc.

Give the studio a try it's impressive and has WOW factor 10/10.

The events and group shoots are super too!....Happy days ahead!

Ive been lucky enough to shoot at millwood studios twice now and hopefully i will get to shoot there more :) its a fab studio and Jamie is cool :) there is lots of props & clothes and apparently shoes :) :) i would defiantly recommend shooting there , you wont be disappointed .

Jamie was friendly,welcoming and easy to get on with a great host providing refreshments to models. The millwood photography studio is the best studio in manchester highly recommended! , fantastic well equipped professional modern studio with everything at hand ,which I had the pleasure to work in.

Well... What can I say about the studio and also the amazing gentleman that owns it! It has a stunning layout, lots of space and VERY toasty, not once did I get a shiver! Not all shoots are like that. I was welcomed and felt very cumftable around the photographers and owner. They have a great changing area and lots of props, clothes and shoes! What could possibly go wrong! Would defiantly recommend this to everyone! Can't wait to come back already!

Had my first shoot at millwood studios and it was such a pleasure, good communication, friendly person showed me around before we started asked If I would like a drink, made sure I new all the photographers, I felt very comfortable I would highly recommend for models aswel as photographers, changing space is brilliant and plenty of different prop areas with different styles, looking forward to working here again thanks callie x

I had a photoshoot here on Tuesday, the studio was really good, and had lots of different scenery and props, was also warm to shoot in due to the heating which meant I wasn't freezing, also good owner who made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend. :)

Bonfire night, and 3hrs with Sophie Star - This is a great little set studio, im sorry I wasn't there for more time, t'riffic place. :) Blummin hot too once the heater kicks in ! A nice array of equipment for use as well. I will be back - Thanks Jamie :) Glad I didn't abandon the journey, so almost tho... that sodding M62 lol. I would recommend Millwood Studio without hesitation, and i've only done that for one other studio I felt met the demands placed on it. :)

I has my first visit to Millwood Photographic Studio yesterday for a Studio Day. I was very impressed with the facilities and the range of sets available. Pre shoot comms were good, I was very well looked after, and Paul makes a blinding cuppa :) Help was readily available if needed too.

The best bit... From a models point of view.. Was the underfloor heating! Not cold feet for Steph :)

All in all a great day, and a great experience. Would love to come back.

Not only do Paul & Jamie run a fantastic studio, but they are not three bad at organising outdoor location shoots. Had a fantastic day yesterday sailing along a canal with Magda stopping off at various well chosen locations. I may add also they can do a very decent full english breakfast as well.

Thank you for a wonderful day I would have no hesitation on joining you for another day or recomending you to others. An excellent day all round. :-)

This was my second sell out model day at Millwood Studios yesterday.

I just ADORE this studio and the owners (Paul and Jamie).

Lets start with the studio. You could shoot there for a full day and still come back for more! The studio is very large but done to a high standard. Photographers get the option of either shooting natural light or flash.

Loads of amazing sets and props too.

To say its Aug the weather has been awfully cold and when you think of Mill's you think COLD. Not at Millwood. It was kept warm throughout the day and even had the underfloor heating on...very nice when having to pose nude on the floor.

Jamie arranged the model day and his communication skills are fantastic!

Paul was there throughout the model day and you couldn't have asked for a more perfect studio owner. Models - Paul looks after you, makes sure your happy and is a great guy to be around.

Photographers - No job is too small or big for Paul, he will happily help you set up or constantly make sure that the studio meets your needs throughout the shoot!

Can't recommend this studio highly enough!! Hope to be returning there in the not so distant future.

I attended one of the regular Models' nights at Millwood. Having been to the studio before, I know what this fantastic studio has to offer. Everything a photographer will need are there, all kinds of lights, modifiers, and a kettle! And Jamie is always on hand to help if needed.

I would definitely be back and would recommend Millwood to anyone

Millwood is a good studio with lots of sets available on two floors with friendly support.

I spent time at a group shoot here and was really pleased with what's on offer, lots of lights and modifiers available and space to move around in. I will definitely be going back here soon.

Had a shoot recently at Millwood. Excellent studio, very spacious, good size dressing area, various props, different lighting set ups and great backdrops. Will definitely love to work at this studio again. Highly recommended to all.
