Another great experience at Millwood with Paul earlier this week, this time it was a group shoot ran by Jen50bj47 with her husband Barry, and fellow photographers Kev, and Larry.

Paul is a true delight to work with, always smiling, puts on some great music, happy to help with lighting, styling, or camera settings, and always adds to the groovy atmosphere! Very highly recommended and looking forward to the next time!

I hosted my second studio day at Millwood in Sunday and enjoyed it from start to finish! Jamie welcomed me and kept me supplied with tea and chat all day, as well as being very helpful moving lights and making suggestions. The studio is a gorgeous space with endless possibilities, and I look forward to returning next year. Highly recommended!

Had a great Studio Lighting training session with Paul at millwood and took away plenty of insight into better usage and understanding of my equipment. Paul is an understanding tutor and kept the information flowing the entire time i was there and arrange for a model to arrive to test out the theory id learnt.

All in all great session (Y)

On Sophia Blake's recommendation, I travelled from London to shoot with the delectable Sophia at this studio.

Paul, the studio owner, couldn't have been more accommodating in both helping with ideas for the different sets, but above all in organising some fabulous lighting.

The studio is very large with lots of differing opportunities which we certainly didn't exhaust.

I would certainly want to revisit this great facility, highly recommended.

I have shot at Millwood studios several times now, and each time I visit I just want to keep on going back. It's beautiful and provides endless ideas to shoot. It's always a nice temperature on even the coldest of days, and is kept clean and tidy.

There are so many sets and props to use, and the changing room is every models dream .. It has its own toilet, makeup lighting/big mirrors, lots of clothes hung up on rails and plenty of shoes... Even hair straighteners and jewellery/makeup.

Paul is such a lovely guy, one of the nicest people I have come to know and is always kind enough to pick me and up and take me home again. A true gent, who does a great job in making sure everyone is happy and always helps out when needed. Oh, and he makes an amazing cup of tea!!!

I hope to isn't too long before I come back again.

Nikon 500

I travel up from the south coast which means me having to find B&B when I want to do a shoot at Millwood which is over a two day period.

Paul met me at the station and kindly transported me around between the station, the pub -for dinner-the guest house where I stayed and the studio for the entire time I was in Stalybridge. Thank you, Paul, you're a star.

Paul also gave me a lot of assistance while shooting at Millwood which is without doubt an excellent studio.

So many superb sets to use and I felt really at home there.

I'm back again in September for another two days.Yippee!

I recently had my first trip to Millwood Studio and what a fantastic place to be. The studio is versatile, accommodating and has plenty of clothing, props and sets to hand. It is BIG, BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL. We were assisted throughout and made to feel welcome at all times.

The changing facilities were spot on, with a huge space for clothing and mirrors for makeup.

Bright, open, lots of space and lots of sets to hand!

I love the huge Windows letting all the light in too!

One of the best studios for model facilities! Even an en-suite!

Paul was lovely and happy to help at any point!

Myself and another model (Kate Palmer) held a studio day at Millwood Photography Studio recently.

Neither of us had worked at Millwood before, so were excited to see what the studio had to offer. Upon arriving, we were given a tour of the studio and we were not disappointed! Millwood is big, bright and beautiful with endless possibilities for shoots. The studio is clean, well kept and has exceptional facilities available.

Studio bonus: The lovely Loki, the spaniel, who loves belly rubs and custard creams!

Fantastic studio, loads of space and lots of room sets. Lots of backgrounds and props including two pianos which can be moved around.

The natural light options there can give wonderfully amazing results, as can the huge variety of flash options.

I love the white infinity cove, great for fashion with the fast recycling flash units there and also loads of space to use long lenses.

Friendly people who are happy to give help when needed.

Plenty of facilities including comfortable reception area, changing/makeup room, tea and coffee.

Highly recommended.

This Studio must be the best kept secret yet; masses of space, multiple and varied sets, cavernous levels, a ton of equipment to delight any photo-tech, an aladdins cave if props, clothes, shoes....but best of all, a personalised supportive on-set service of the highest possible standard.

Working at Millwood was one of my most teeasured studio experiences yet. The sheer variety & quality of sets, the professional standard of everything from the MUA workspace to the richly detailed props, high quality Tech and the "We-Will-Go-Well-Beyond-The-Call-Of-Duty" service ethic add up to an experience that should cost many times more than the highly inexpensive price we paid for a full day shoot.

I cannot commend or thank Jamie & especially Paul highly enough for their service & support for an outstanding day at Millwood.

In a word; exceptional.

My first visit to Millwood studio, and it was worth the journey!.

Paul welcomed me to the studio, and what a fantastic place is is!. Two floors to get your imagination flowing.. Plenty of sets and lights to work with. Shooting with available light is possible, if the weather stays bright!!.

Paul was always willing to help/answer questions and set up lights when asked. A top bloke :)

Highly recommended.

Ah, Millwood. My second home. I've been working with the studio, probably at least once a week for about 18 months, be that at group shoot or hiring it for private projects.

I love working there and with a great team. My photography wouldn't be anywhere near as good as I think it is, without it's staff and facilities.

I've made some good friends there, too. The networking events and group shoots are fantastic, and the standard of models, superb.

I can't recommend Millwood enough - if you need a great space to shoot in, get in touch. You will not be disappointed.

Millwood to the rescue!!!!

After being let down on location yesterday, Paul and the team at Millwood saved the day!

One phone call and boom! A perfect studio provided for our shoot.

Hospitality was superb and the studio provided everything we needed last minute.

I seriously can't recommend Millwood highly enough!

You guys are lifesavers and I'm eternally grateful. I look forward to shooting here more frequently.

Yesterday i had the pleasure of shooting at this super studio

Excellent warm welcoming by the team at millwood.

It is a studio that i have wanted to work at for some time now.

They rescured my shoot with heather on the flip of a call after a mix up in the day.

Brews at the ready. Excellent sets. So much choice to shoot with what a beautiful place it is.

studio: ohhhh where to start ..... well this studio can offer so much to your portfolio its amazing so many nice therms to chose from natural lighting witch has to be one of my fav!!!! at the studio for fashion to sexy to pin up to art nude to nude you name it this studio has what it takes to fit any of your needs dont waste time get booked in you sure wont reget it !!!!

Staff: well we have the sweet dad figure Paul booth whos lovely makes you feel right at home.

Then we have the man himself Jamie booth whos awesome and funny :)

last of all we have the amazing model kire so if theres any photographers looking for a model look her up :)

I enjoyed a great photo shoot with the excellent Sophia Blake at Millwood Studios last Friday. The studio is great for natural light shooting as there are numerous windows available around the studio. The studio has a great range of props (including a piano) and the walls are a mixture of stone and brick which bring great textures to shots. Downstairs there is a infinity cove and other themed sets. There is a good range of Bowens flash gear and softboxes available and I plan to use them next time. The staff were very friendly and helped me move furniture and find props I needed.

I can highly recommend Millwood - thanks for a great shoot

I had the lovely pleasure of hosting a studio day at Millwood Studio today. The studio is absolutely fabulous!! It is HUGE!! With SO MANY different possibilities and shooting areas!! The studio really does have so much to offer! - unusual sets, a huge infinity cove which seems to go on forever! , So many wonderful pieces of furniture, a private changing room equipped with a lovely bathroom and wardrobe that also seems to be never ending!! I could spend forever in there having a rummage!! As well all the lighting equipment you could need. Also it was warm throughout the entire day.

The studio is run by both Paul and Jamie! Paul was there on hand most of the day and was just lovely! He may have a pretty dodgey taste in music but his dancing makes up for it! Jamie is lovely also and was around to give advice at points during the day as well as being there to help with lighting also etc. Also Jamie kindly picked me up from the station in the morning which was a big help.

All in all, the most exciting/interesting studio I've used to date. A fun place to be, and not to mention the best supply of tea ever. Thanks for a great day and congrats on such a brilliant studio. Highly recommended from me.
