My first shoot with Artemis Fauna at Gloucester Prison was carried out remotely - that fact that she managed to carry that off is testimony in itself. This time we shot in person, and despite having just carried out a marathon 22 shoots in 6 days, she was, as usual, on top form.

We spent an afternoon wandering round the prison grabbing every opportunity we found, some obvious, some not. We shot outfits that we'd planned and ones that we hadn't instead of others we had. Throughout she was constantly suggesting extra ideas and angles ("From here I can just see a gap between those stairs, so if you go up another flight ...") and as ever the results were more than the sum of the parts. Add a professional yet friendly attitude and it's pretty obvious why she's amassed 1586 glowing references.

Oh My. Artemis, what can be said that hasn't been already. We have been in communications for over a year and at last we were able to follow through with our shooting plans. Her communication skills are exceptional despite the hectic work schedule she sets herself and the numerous times we had to reschedule.

Artemis besides having a unique and beautiful captivating look exudes confidence and flair in all she does. I was thrilled to find she had left the Bohemian Bloom set in place and we were able to utilize it. In fact she had more sets and options that we simply did not have time to cover. With her own expertease and knowledge for maximizing the light and an extensive wardrobe several sets were completed producing images that leap out at you in such a suble and delicate way. Thus I am more than happy with the results we achieved. Artimus made sure I got the images I required making small adjustments from observing the BOC. Yes I have identified many images for potential drawings and am now itching to get started. Now its me under pressure to create and capture her likeness and I can only hope I live up to her expectations.

To sum up Artemis is one model that you simply must work with not just for the beautiful and well thought out poses but for the wealth of experience and creativity she brings with her. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Get her on your calander now or even sooner. Thank you Artemis.

I worked with Artemis on a remote bohemian shoot and she was wonderful to work with. So professional and the images were amazing. She had put such a lot of effort into the sets and the results were so impressive. I loved working with her and the time just flew by. Can't wait to work with her again. Very highly recommended.

Artemis approached me to take part in the Bohemian Bloom event she was organising with her, Ivory Flame and Carla Monaco. I was so glad she did!

I've only worked remotely with Artemis so far (but planning to do so in person soon, fingers crossed). Even so I love working with her! You feel immediately at ease and the experience is fun :)

On top of that we got some super images. She had clearly put enormous thought and work into making sure each person involved got unique images, many of which in my case were super (thanks to her, not me:)

If you get a chance to work with Artemis do so as soon as you can. Very highly recommended indeed!

I was lucky enough to be a part of the Bohemian Bloom event run by Artemis and it was a complete blast. We had a one hour remote shoot together and, in a short time (I'm used to 4 hour shoots) we achieved some really beautiful results.

All pre shoot coms were great, the sets phenomenal. I was absolutely stunned by the amount of work she had put in preparing for the shoots for this event and the results are clear in the shots produced. She put a great deal of thought into the outfits that would fit each set and we shot in a fun relaxed atmosphere. The tech worked flawlessly, I needed a quick reminder on how the software ran. Her posing is superb and, whilst we had a rough idea of what we were going to shoot, we managed to improvise on the fly and get some really beautiful work.

Thank you Artemis for having me on this amazing event and another lovely remote shoot.

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Had a shoot with Artemis Fauna, Ivory Flame and Carla Monaco on their Bohemian Bloom Remote event. It all went well and was very enjoyable. A small technical problem for a few minutes with Artemis but she quickly resolved the issue and we continued without any other incidents! Each model had lovely sets and it was difficult to choose which one to shoot in as all the sets were so lovely, they had worked so hard to make it a high-end shoot, needless to say that the posing from each was awesome too! All gave 150% to this event (to say 100% would be under-valuing what they did). Results were first class too! Thank you ladies, hope you do another event similar to this soon. Thanks, Jann :-)x

When Artemis Fauna contacted me a month ago to see if I would be interested in her latest themed event, Bohemian Bloom, I jumped at the chance. I participated in her “70s Event” a couple of years ago so guessed it would be great fun and well organised. I was not wrong. Three models were involved (Artemis, Carla Monaco and Ivory Flame) – all in remote locations but joined up in themes and concepts.

This was the third remote shoot I had had with Artemis and everything ran smoothly. We had briefly discussed thoughts but as usual, inspiration and ideas came as the hour proceeded.

I believe that there are thoughts of doing something similar again later in the year – if you get a chance, do come along to one of these events. You won’t regret it!

All the usual stuff (communication, posing, work ethic, personality, outfits, make up & hair skills) all exemplary - so what else can I say?

Well - Sarah has presence, you can't not look at her when she poses. She has elegance and grace - it doesn't look of feel like she's working through a formulaic set of poses, she seems to just flow from one position to the next effortlessly. She has patience and empathy she'll wait and work on a shot till it's just right for you. She's tireless - nothing too much trouble and nothing too difficult. She understands light - the greatest skill a model can possess - she knows how to create shape and substance with shadow and highlight - makes you job as a photographer so much easier. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Thank you Sarah so much for a fabulous couple of hours, I loved every second and can't wait to work with you again. Derrick.

Fantastic Remote shoot with Sarah, a few problems with TeamViewer but after swapping to zoom we made some superb images.

Sarah was extremely professional at all times and a very happy person. She posed very well and very enthusiastic. She was pleased to pose as requested and suggested other poses that would make good photographs.

I’m really happy with the images we achieved, can’t wait to get some edits done on them and look forward to work with Sarah again.

I highly recommend Sarah to any photographer out there 100%

I had the pleasure of working with Artemis Fauna for the first time and I have to say it was incredible! Artemis is absolutely elegant and beautiful, polite, professional and wants to make sure you get the shots you want. It has been an absolute delight from the beginning, from booking, answering any questions quickly and to facilitating some changes to the schedule.

She doesn’t need any direction at all but is happy to take direction whilst offering ideas and suggestions through the shoot. Artemis is open and equally happy to attempt my ideas and suggestions eagerly. We shot a range of different styles from the casual candid looks through to lingerie and nude for four hours.

Artemis offers a different variety of backdrops, bespoke locations to shoot around her home, great conversation, and awesome coffee!

Thank you, Artemis. Can't wait to shoot again!!

I had another amazing shoot with Artemis last week! Back in Normal Times (remember them?) we have frequently shot together, but this was my first time doing a remote shoot with Artemis. Despite all the differences of this way of working, there was a lot the same as working with this wonderful model face to face - clear communications, impeccable organisation, total engagement with the theme, an amazing adaptability and creativity, and - of course - that fluid, expressive posing.

From an initial idea we worked through a wide range of variations, really making the most of the theme. Our three hours absolutely flew by but I've come away with a ton of amazing images.

As always Artemis was a joy to work with and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

This was my second shoot with the lovely Artemis. The shoot was a remote and very successful. It is so nice to work with such a talented and friendly person. Artemis makes you feel comfortable about the shoot and I would recommend her to any photographer wanting to do a shoot with this talented artist. Looking forward to our next adventure.

Yesterday I undertook my third remote shoot, which was my second with Artemis. This time she exchanged the luxury and warmth of her home studio and ended up in Gloucester Prison! I’m not sure what she had been convicted of but fortunately, on the day, kitted out in an orange jumpsuit she was “friendly” and “willing to have her photo taken”!!!!!

As with all of Artemis’ events, the organisation and communications was spot on and everything happened like clockwork.

I have never undertaken a shoot like this where there had been such a strong theme but it was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours I had.

If ever you see Artemis put out a casting call for a similar event - book it! I am sure you won’t be disappointed!

Just had a pretty amazing remote shoot with Artemis who has turned her home into a veritable studio with a fantastic variety of settings. We started with some super dreamy naturally window lit images - which just seemed to keep going with different outfit changes and hair adjustments - it took quite some discipline to tear ourselves away with a wide variety of images we were getting from such a simple set. Into the studio environment with a gorgeous textured backdrop for some character portraits and producing better than was on my mood board. Then in the last half hour experiments with new lens and ideas for light modifiers - all in all no better a way to spend Saturday morning in lockdown.

Artemis is really such a sweet person and funny to chat to to boot. A definite tonic to my state of mind this year!

Happily, wholeheartedly and totally recommended.

This was my second Remote Shoot with Artemis. I was shooting with Natural Light again this time and started off where we finished the last time. Half way through the shoot we moved location to a small hallway. Immediately I was in heaven, Light Wise. Artemis went into overdrive Mode and we got fantastic images from the little space. Artemis is such a brilliant model, set designer etc. She is so egar to get the photographer what they want. I am so please to have gotten to work with such a talented person and I highly recommend Artemis and I will definitely be booking her again. :)

Shooting remotely with Artemis is creative, productive, and immense fun. I wasn't sure at first but I soon became a convert, so much so that we did our 3rd remote shoot today and the next one is already booked.

We had previously agreed to do a Honey Birdette lingerie themed shoot at Artemis' home studio, and she rocked it with a variety of different looks. And she handled the remote setup like a pro.
