References for Artemis Fauna

I think it goes without saying that Artemis falls in the 'Modelling Royalty' category. There are many attributes that speak of this, her sheer presence, her experience, the countless shoots, that ability to look amazing whilst also tweak the styling and so much more.

You can spot an Artemis photo a mile off. And yet, she can also surprise you with a brand new look that you hadn't seen before. This is a long winded way of me saying I was quickly a fan when I met her earlier this year and that connection caused me to sign up to her Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays event in Sicily. This was a bit of a new experience for me, shooting with more than one model and other photographers but I had seen Artemis and her creativity at work and new I was in safe hands. Besides, an amazing villa with a pool, amazing models, every meal cooked by none other than Carla Monaco and Adrian, Italy, bottomless wine ... It wasn't a complicated choice :)

I went with high expectations and I was richly rewarded. I won't list them all here, but I came away with an army of photos that I will cherish forever (and frankly need another 5 weeks off to edit them all). The first one I shared on PP with Artemis even got an FPI!

For me, the photos are important, it's what motivates me. But I will also say that the people in them inspire me more. I'm driven by interesting and creative people, I love to understand them and try my best to capture that essence. Artemis is one of those special people with so much creativity, she just makes you want to pick up a camera.

Thank you for a great time in Sicily Artemis. I know you worked hard and overcame a lot to make it happen, but step back a moment and remember, you smashed it out of the park.

Artemis Fauna is my, go-to, model. She was one of the first models that I worked with several years ago. I always went to Artemis when I needed inspiration. She is such a creative person and was very kind to someone just feeling his way in model photography. She has only changed in the way that, if possible, she is even more creative. Her fine art background shows through her work.

Our most recent session was at Basford Hurst Cottage Studio shooting duo with the lovely Carla Monaco one day and solo the next. An amazing two days. ( or mornings to be precise.) A star among Stars.

Fine and DanDee Studio

It was such a joy to have Artemis back to the studio, 2 full days of in person and remote shoots.

A total pleasure to have around, was so nice to catch up.

A wonderful lady and fabulous model who doesn’t give herself the credit she absolutely deserves!

Artemis Fauna is an absolute gem of a human being and a very very talented model. I recently worked with her at a Fine and Dandee studio day. I'm kicking myself that I haven't worked with this fantastic model before now.

When I arrived for the shoot we spent some time going through outfit choices and she made some great suggestions and then we moved on to shooting which I have to say was amazing. Artemis is very friendly and so easy to talk to, it felt like I was photographing someone who I had know for ages when in fact we had only just met.

Artemis flowed effortlessly between poses and didn't need much direction from me but responded well when I did give directions

My time in the studio with Artemis flew by and before I knew it we had to stop, I could have continued all day with this superb model.

I came away from this shoot with some fantastic images which I can't wait to share once I have edited them.

I highly recommend working with this fabulous model

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Artemis Fauna has spent three days shooting at Basford Hurst Cottage and I could not have been happier with how they have gone!

Artemis is a complete professional. She is extremely knowledgeable, poses effortlessly, and is always on hand to help photographers produce many wonderful images!

Artemis is welcome back to Basford any time, she is a real joy to spend time with and I would have no hesitation recommending her.

Was so pleased to see Artemis back again at the studio for a sold out 2 days of amazing photography. She always brings a fabulous collection of outfits for photographers to choose from and her styling is always spot on. She knows lighting which is always a bonus and coupled with fantastic posing you can't possible go away from a shoot with her without feeling you've got some absolute crackers.

She is super creative and can turn her modelling to suit the theme and when it comes to the person well what can I say she is one of the loveliest people you will meet. Got a great sense of humour and so easy to get on with.

Honestly go shoot with her you will be blown away.....me well I'm a little gutted I didn't book a slot with her this time but then the slots filled so quickly I didn't get a look in!! Next time I'm booking in first!

Had the most wonderful shoot with Artemis during her day at Inspire Studios.

Siaran has already said everything I was going to. I had an idea for a new (to me) lighting style, and Artemis suggested the same thing.

Probably some of my best images yet. Biggest regret, only booked two hours...

Originally planned to Shoot with Artemis 3 years ago at Inspire on a group shoot but lockdown got in the way and every time since Artemis has had a studio day nearby I had been working. And this time I left 2 late and almost missed out again. But luckily there was a last minute cancellation.

This just shows how great Artemis is to work with. I had a great 2 hours with some 70's fashion and some fabulous shots. Artemis is a pleasure to work with easy going putting up with my chatty nature.

I need to organise another shoot at some time. 100% recommend

Although we've spent a good few hours shooting on Artemisian Events - I'd never worked 1-to-1 with Artemis in a studio environment.

So I grabbed a couple of hours of her studio day at Inspire Studios.

Need I say anything as to how good this lady is when it comes to both styling and time in front of the camera - the 1600+ references already do that.

If must say something then shall simply say - an awesome couple of hours.

If you've not worked with Artemis, you really should.

I look forward to when we work together again.

Where do I start I am on cloud 9 and totally blown away and lost for words artemis is the best in the business by a country mile a very stunning model who's professional a delight to work with down to earth know what works and what dont very creative knowledgeable hard working glides through poses with ease and her input in the shoot is valueable there is no attitude or anything a true gem a truly nice person nothing was to much trouble everything was on point a truly lovely way to spend the afternoon in great company got to know a bit about her and she don't deserve the rubbish hand she has been dealt with its a credit to her and her work ethic to be able still give 100% in front of the camera and certainly makes you feel important and not just a job or another photographer had a total blast

If artemis is not so busy I would definitely work with Artemis again just hope its sooner rather then later

she is very talented, although it was my first duo shoot, and we did a lot of

lighting experiments Artemis gave a lot of input into the shoot and I really hope we can work together again soon thank you for a great shoot.

There are opportunities in life that are not to be missed. And one of them is when the chance to work with Artemis again (just a brief 11 and a half years since the last time) comes along… you grab that moment. Artemis is everything you want from a model, organised, gorgeous, easy going and super professional. A joy to work with!

What can I say about Artemis that hasn't already been said. Artemis has over 1600 positive references and that is indicative of how great she is. Not only is she wonderfully creative but she is knowledgeable and hard working. Artemis has been a top model for years but has no attitude whatsoever. She is an extremely nice person and very hard working.

Her recent devastating personal loss has clearly hit her hard but it is a testament to her work ethic that she has pressed on with her modelling and her Artemesian business, as well as dealing with her partners business. Nevertheless on the day of our shoot she was friendly and professional to a fault.

I had a fantastic day and enjoyed working through a number of highly creative scenarios.

I will definitely work with Artemis again if I get the chance to find a gap in her extremely busy schedule.

Yay!...another Artemis adventure, albeit a remote one. We had three hours of various styles from portraits to nude to lingerie, top class images from a top class model. I have had many shoots with Artemis but it never gets old and she is a delight to work with, easy going, friendly and very creative. Highly recommended to photographer of all levels.

Another great remote photoshoot with Artemis today. Over a couple hrs we got through several various looks at setups. Taking elements from the mood board we had, we went for a more fashion/editorial retro style. Lots of options from the final images. Files sent over the same day too. Highly recommend Artemis for both remote and in person shoots.

I noticed Artemis had a last minute casting up for the Boardroom in Derby so I lept at the chance to shoot with her again. We had shot many times in the past but not for several years so was great to catch up.

Artemis's comms were very prompt, and all styling was supplied on the day. Artemis has an eye for detail and knows her light and composition, an ideal person to work with as she makes taking great images very easy.

Thank you for a great day, hopefully there will not be such a gap between shoots next time :)
