References for Artemis Fauna

It has been nearly 2 years since my last shoot with Artemis and boy was it worth the wait - although I really wish I hadn't. This was quite a last minute shoot but Artemis still came with plenty of outfits and plenty of ideas.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Artemis is an amazing model, certainly one of the best there is. Consummate professional, fun to work with, never a dull moment, always a giggle. An absolutely phenomenal wardrobe, surpassed by none. An array of poses that will never leave you tired of shooting or running out of ideas.

If you haven't ever shot Artemis, you should. Your life as a photographer is not complete without doing so! The highest recommendation I could possibly give. I really hope I don't have to wait another 2 years!

I really don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said about her.

She is unbelievable good ! Extremely professional, very funny and an absolutely pleasure to work with.

Her selection of designer lingerie is second to none. It completely reflects the highest quality of model you get when you book Artemis.

I seriously cannot recommend her highly enough. I wanted the best model that would bring class, sophistication and a WOW factor and Artemis delivers on all counts and then some.

Next time I won’t leave it so long till our next shoot.

Its been ages since I've shot thanks to the lockdown, so when things started to ease up a bit and location shoots became a possibility, I needed to shoot someone amazing to blow away the cobwebs.

Well, they don't come anymore amazing than Artemis, who is the ultimate pro. 1506 positive references says it all really, So i'll just say a huge thank you to Artemis instead, for your time, energy, your astounding poses and having a good giggle along the way. It was the best of days working with you and i love the images we have produced together. Looking forward to the next time!

It had been years since I last shot with Artemis, this one was a lot of fun and got a lot done within a short space of time. Precomms from me were some rather vague outfit descriptions but she brought the perfect outfit choice along. The results look great on the back of the camera, so very happy, kt would be great to work her again soon.

Artemis very kindly agreed to contribute to my Helmut Newton-inspired “Lockdown Selfie” project. The shoot concept is very simple - two identical poses, one clothed and one nude - but the execution can be challenging and I’m extremely grateful to Artemis for the time and effort she spent on putting together two images with such wonderful style, poise and pose. Artemis kindly agreed to let me post-process the images and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results that we’ve created together. Thank you so much! 😀

I'd been promising myself a shoot with Artemis virtually since the day I joined Purpleport. After several near misses we finally got to shoot at Artemis's beautifully decorated home / studio. Her home has numerous rooms which double up as shooting space, each with carefully chosen decor & furniture. This includes a room with big glass doors, used as a studio space & I was lucky enough to be the first photographer to use her new hand painted back drop.

I must admit to being nervous beforehand but meeting Artemis was like meeting a friend I've known for ages. What a way to spend an afternoon, in the company of a beautiful person, inside & out, who made me relaxed from the second she opened the door and throughout the shoot. We chatted, drank, generally put the world to rights but above all captured images that I love.

Thank you Artemis, for the hospitality, your company, your professionalism and of course choice of music.

Fortunately, I can't think of anything new to say about Artemis Fauna. As she is peerless, perfect and professional to the core, with outstanding ability to make every set special, and the knowledge to advise photographers how to get the best out of the sets she creates (light, angles etc), anything new it would imply she'd fallen short of her own standards but there is absolutely no danger of that! So nothing new, Artemis Fauna remains the best!

I reckon every photographer on Purpleport – certainly every *new* photographer – should book a shoot with Artemis Fauna. I had the pleasure of a shoot with her ten years ago when Purpleport first started and we enjoyed our third shoot yesterday. (Well, I enjoyed it and if Artemis didn't then she's a darn good actor... :-) )

The shoot goes rather like this:

Chat, chat - shoot pictures, new pose, new outfits, shoot pictures - chat, chat – shoot pictures... [repeat for three hours, with occasional breaks for tea.]

Artemis is ready to go on time, made up, a roomful of outfits and lingerie and now I have a number of images to browse through and edit. Another great experience, lovely personality, totally professional, if you have never booked her, do it this year. If you have shot with her before then you'll know what I mean. How many positive references can one model get...?

I had not had the chance to work with Artimis before going on one of her Artimisian Luxury Photographic Holidays recently in Portugal.

I have been aware of her many great images on PP for some time so was nervous about meeting her for the first time. Well no problem. Sarah is a genuinely lovely, talkative and relaxed person who soon has you at ease.

Always fun to be around. During our three shooting days together she was interested in me getting the images I wanted and with a great choice of clothes both selected by her and me I came away with a great set of images that I am proud of.

She is quite happy to go with the flow or take direction and always happy to try something different. Fabulous poses and expressions come easy to her and on these trips her local knowledge of locations is first rate which is a big plus. But most of all she makes you feel relaxed and not rushed which I find a big bonus.

A big thumbs up from me and I can't wait to work with you again Sarah. Role on September or maybe even before then!

I managed to work with Sarah for the first time, out in Portugal, right at the end of 2019.

Timing was never right to get together before, on my part, but I am so glad it happened.

It was a fantastic way to end the shooting year, 3 days in sun in December, and I'm only getting started!

Sarah makes you feel totally at ease, and it seemed like we had shot before, but that is her professionalism. Combine that with a stunning timeless look AND versatility in styles, well you can't go wrong.

Sarah has also done her homework, knowing great locations in the area. Then there is her extensive wardrobe and styling, which is amazing.

Plus her attention to detail and also knowledge of photography brings yet another dimension, that makes a few days shooting genuinely a collaboration heaven!

All round an experience that I can say I thoroughly enjoyed, and can recommend a shoot, or trip on one of the Artemisian holidays without hesitation.

This was the second time I've worked with Artemis, this time at her home studio in Swindon. Working with Artemis is like working with an old friend, a really relaxed shoot, chatting and getting some amazing shots in this great space Artemis has created. Artemis was typically fantastic throughout the shoot, posing and providing the right feel for each shot we discussed. I can't recommend Artemis highly enough, she is simply brilliant and I really should work with her again in the near future.

This was my second shoot with Artemis, and hopefully not the last. We used a simple light setup to shoot fashion portraits, at her new home. Artemis has made her new home, a beautiful location, and we captured some really stunning images.

It was a real pleasure working with Artemis, a very beautiful woman, who knows just the right, expressions and body posture, to make exceptional visual moments to capture.

First worked with Artemis well over a year ago and since then I am hooked. This amazing young lady has endless amount of talent and so beautiful to shoot. I have also been on two of her fabulous Photography holidays to Tuscany and looking to book my third very soon. So when I got the chance to work with Artemis at her fabulous new home I could not have been happier. The house had some brilliant natural light a breathtaking 70s setup which I would of been happy to shoot with all day long and trust me Artemis can pose to perfection in any room she works in. I just wish I new Artemis when I first started model photography she is so relaxed and very encouraging and really knows what she is talking about. you could be pro or an absolute beginning Artemis really is the bees knees

What a shoot to finish 2019 on!

Shooting at Artemis' home studio, we spent the day capture awesome creative shots and styles. You remember shoots from an image or two you captured during it, but this shoot will always be remembered as a shoot that creativity just flowed from start to finish. Sending Artemis a few moodboards a couple days before the shoot, Artemis was ready with several options and ideas to get the shoot started. Using a cupboard where a washer/dryer is to shoot some creative images, using a kitchen table to gets some glamorous style images and just Artemis in just casual wear using natural light from the kitchen window was just the morning part of our shoot. In the afternoon I go to meet "Sam" and Sam did not disappoint in the posing and style with us capturing some great black & white images.

Shooting in the living room using natural light, artificial light and on camera flash, we totally hit a peak of creativity that I thought we had done well in the morning part of the shoot. You know you're capturing epicness when even Artemis is jumping up and down with glee. Shooting Noir-ish style, trying some images with photography crystals and shooting (in colour) some fashion, we totally went crazy with images getting well over a couple hundred just from that location. Shooting high ISO to get the grain in the Noir images, things just totally came together creatively with even images that had me believe there was two models in the same picture and Artemis being a doppelganger for another model with the light and shadows falling on her. Artemis is also chameleon-like in that she can change her look quickly by just changing her hairstyle, clothing and posing style.

I couldn't have asked for a better shoot to end the year on. I was kind of in a creative slump thinking where to take my photography in the next year, but I think I just found out the style I'd like to do much more of over all the others next year.

Looking forward to going on two of Artemis' trips in 2020 and can't wait to see what we can capture on location if this is kind of results we can get just shooting at a home studio on a winter's day.

Highly, highly recommend Artemis for any photographer wanting to up their creativity and passion for photography, you couldn't ask for a better model to have images in your portfolio.

I’m running out of superlatives for this wonderful young lady. This was our seventh shoot together but our first time working properly on location and all as part of an Artemisian Luxury Photographic Weekend in Portugal. It’s always a privilege to work with Artemis and the weekend gave us the opportunity to give full rein to her many modelling talents: sophisticated fashion, kooky candids, gorgeous portraits, graceful art nude, sensual boudoir - everything Artemis turns her hand to is executed with enormous class and style. We accomplished so much over the two days without it ever seeming rushed or forced and I’ve got a whole portfolio-worth of amazing pictures to show for it. Thank you Artemis for a truly fabulous trip!

Artemis was a thorough professional as I am sure everyone who has worked with her will agree. She helped me get some great images and was always upbeat, positive and full of energy and a pleasure to talk to and work with.

Sarah had sourced a delightful villa in the Tuscan countryside. She had a number of themed ideas but also worked well with the props we had bought with us. She always works really hard on these trips and we do appreciate that. The softer hairstyle gave her another lovely new look for us which we appreciated.
