I think the grass will always be greener. Girls I know with small/no boobs would love big boobs. Friends with big boobs are desperate for smaller.

+1

I had small B-cup boobs up until 3 years ago, and hated them. Now I'm a D-cup and I hate them even more. I didn't have surgery or anything, my body has just changed over the last few years.

I must say though, it doesn't stop me wanting to take my clothes off for a shoot. I've always found that I'm more self-conscious about my face and expressions when modelling, than I am about my body. Maybe just afterwards when looking at the images, I'll be critical about how my body looks. But it's always my face I'm aware of during shoots.

I still don't relate how I look in images to what I see when I look in the mirror, particularly when it comes to my boobs because I've been so accustomed to being flat-chested. I think they're pure comedy to look at. Mostly I just think they are not my tits!

As a photographer, I have no preference for what size the model's tits are!

As a viewer of images I prefer smaller  boobs in Art nude and larger ones in 70's style glamour, in fashion type it depends on the garment. . As a taker of images, the size does not matter if the model and I are  happy with the results.

- WOW 0_º ... That is all.

No negative thoughts here !! :oD

You are quite right. My figure in this images is far more visually appealing than that of me with smaller breasts.

There is no deneying it.

However, my augmentation turned out really well. My breasts look fantastic, and although they're fake, they don't look stuck on.

The rule with photographers should be "no shite augmentations", rather than none at all.

The disadvantages to breast reductions are 1) you're left with a vertical scar from your nipple to the underside...

1.  I'd hope my boyfriend wouldn't care (after all, men don't *really* care about how you look... do they?).

2.  For everything else there's Photoshop.

- here here ! & +1, the social pressure is to look perfect, load of bollocks imho.

Yes, I can see you showing equal rights and lessening social pressure to look perfect by putting all those ugly chicks in your portfolio...

Oh wait.

Like it or not, almost every photographer on this site is adding to the perceived problem.

For art nude small boobs do look a lot better than fake boobs. The problem with fake books is that they do destroy the aesthetic of the photo and you end up thinking "nice shot, shame about the boob job".

Whenever the subject is discussed between models and photographers the opinion is overwhelmingly that models who looked OK before their operation, invariable look worse after their boob enhancement. If the boobs were odd sizes or suffer from post baby droop then there could be a good case to restore them to a more natural shape. Unfortunately, most boob jobs make them a couple of sizes bigger than what looks natural.

Given the choice between an A cup art nude model and a D cup enhanced model I would choose the A cup model every time.

@ Charlotte:  I'm sure in a personal sense, 1 to 1, relationship-wise no it's wouldn't matter, however, it does beg the question from a modelling perspective, do you go warts n all, or 'shop the hell out of it.  To me it simply doesnt matter, you are who you are, I don't know one single 'perfect' human on this stinking mudball, not one, everyone has 'something', weather it's an eye that wont centre, or cellulite, or scars etc etc etc  But are you selling the fantasy, or representing life for some moral reason.

"Yes, I can see you showing equal rights and lessening social pressure to look perfect by putting all those ugly chicks in your portfolio..."

There's a difference between shooting imperfections, and shooting munters lol.  In my shots of Amy (the disco girl) I haven't for example so much as removed one single Cesarian section scar, not once.  It's there if faded, but it's part of who she is and tells it's own story if visible.  I err, dont see any ugly fellas in your 'dick in wet pants' shots either :p  So, ya know, go shoot a fat lad once with a one incher (hidden penis syndrome), i'm sure it will do your port a world of good - right :o)  Or maybe choose a down syndrome model next time ?  Oh wait...

Yeah... but I wasn't commenting from a modeling perspective, just from a 'girl' perspective!

Obviously when it comes to modeling with scars etc, it's down to the individual photographer to decide what they want in the image - as was discussed a while ago!

The thing is, it was you saying that you didn't understand why girls felt so much pressure to be 'perfect'.  I merely commented that as photographers we are perpetuating the myth that perfection is what you should strive for because we don't shoot ugly people.  I'm not attacking you for that, just pointing out the discrepancy that you're helping to fuel that fire, as am I.

Depends if you shoot "pro me" or "fantasy" - how you're trying to sell an image to a viewer imho, what you shoot depends more on the style and expected outcome less than a togs sense of what should or shouldnt be shopped;; and or their choice of model.

We are very boob orientated country, there is a difference between how you look, how you feel and what sells and looks good, this changes based on everyones taste, when I was younger and at school I was picked on for being flat chested but in a modelling situation they have not been a problem although personnally i would want them a little bigger as I personally find a c cup sexier.  There is too much going on in the media about self image and photography and it doesn't always help or is not understood properly. I am not going to get a booking for FRONT magazine regardless of what the individual photographer feels.  As a model you have to sell yourself to your areas, you can't be perfect. There is a huge difference between personnal chioce and buisness end of.   Sorry for the spelling mistakes I am using a different computer which doesn't have google chrome installed. This started as an interested thread but has lost track a little I feel.
