Little boobies

I was having a chat to a model a couple of days ago about her levels, and why they are what they are, (she shoots to implied)

It turns out that the only reason she doesn't shoot topless, is because she thinks her boobs are too small and that she hates them because of their size. If she had big boobs she said she would happily shoot topless. I found this a little sad, that she was under the impression that all photographers wanted to do was shoot girls with big boobs. She was under the impression that if she got a boob job all would be good. (She is fairly new to this modeling thing....)

I explained to her that in my opinion, and that of quite a few photographers that I know, having small boobs was not even something they would ever judge a model on while looking for a model to shoot. And she seemed genuinely surprised by this. Ok, if your doing a shoot for big n busty magazine you would look for a lady with bigger boobs, but generally, it doesn't matter about big boobs, does it?

I will be shooting her anyway, even if she's totally dressed, because I think she looks cool and it would be fun to work with her, but I just thought I would put this out there to get other photographers thoughts, and I might point her in the general direction of this thread later.

:)

Although I am confortable shooting art nude I hate my breast they are tiny, and i don't like to see them on a photograph but I have known plenty who don't mind or even prefer.  I prefer to look at slightly bigger breast in an image so maybe that's another reason i don't like mine lol.

I'm waiting for my new art nude pictures from the photographer but when I have them we can all have a good laugh and discussion, It's an important thread lol. x

While I have shot a fair variety - people come in all shapes and sizes, so unless you are specifically needing large breasts to achieve the image you want, I don't see why it would matter what size they were.  I myself do prefer a fuller more voluptuous figure than the straight up straight down, but that's personal preference, I maybe biased though as my partner is very busty; but I have no objection to shooting smaller, even flat chests so long as they suit the subject matter at hand.

Some of the best models in my opinion have smaller boobs. Joceline, Pixie, Bink, Ivory flame, Anita de Bauch, Ruby Rosetta, Jo Lousie, Raph... (just having a super quick think). I guess it's all about self confidence and as soon as the model realises she is great just the way she is the sooner she will feel better about herself.

The most important thing is to focus on what you are good at, and make the most of it. So what you have A-B boobs, if you have a stunning face, gorgeous hair, endless artistic poses or an awesome wardrobe, work on the positives. :D

I don't have big boobs and it doesn't bother me at all. In fact I have never had an issue with mine ever in my modelling career. I have creativity and grace, I'm sure your model friend has something awesome lots of other models don't. :O)

:O)

It is my nipples rather than breast size that is the issue i think

Well, I'm still looking for an almost totally flat chested art nude model.  I've been looking for quite a few years and not found one yet though.

I don't think it makes any difference. It's all down to the shoot really. Be that breast size, body size, leg length hair length/colour they all have a bearing on the type of shoot you are doing.

I prefer small boobs, they get in the way for beauty stuff and can look a bit glamour for fashiony stuff if they are big.

I don't mind having small boobies.... I fit into things nicer. But then I hate them being so small considering my hips are 42 inches when my chest is only 34 =/

Never had any issue with small boobs and it doesn't even enter into the decision to shoot or not. The main criteria is... they have to be on the front.

I love 'em all , big, little round , pointy, single and scarred.......its more about the person that they're attached to, ( yes even when shooting abstract where identity isn't revealed )..

What I do have  aproblem with though is this hideous concept of "levels".....its bloody disgraceful.

Mad.

I have reasonably 'big' boobs (they're an E cup but I don't think they look that big), and I don't do topless. =) After pregnancy and breastfeeding my boy I don't think they look that great, they're not saggy but they don't look like they did when I was 23 (when I wasn't afraid of getting them out on the beach!)

For my art nudes, and the bodyscapes in particular, small breasts actually make for better pictures (IMHO). And having worked with a couple of models who have implants, I now say "never again", at least not for art nude work.

Rob: get her to check out my portfolio.

I think glamour can work well with models with smaller boobs, for example ....

I think smaller the better really, that's only my personal preference.
