Good morning Lucy, I would love the last Saturday place if possible. I am an experienced photographer but this is a great opportunity to work at a great location with some wonderful models which is exactly what I need for my portfolio. Please feel free to express interest if you wish to be put down as reserve, last time we had two photographer have to pull out due to injury and operation, so it's not unheard, and if this is the case please PM me a contact number so you can be contacted easily if this occurs.

How do you put your name down as an interested model for these events?

we put out castings and contact suitable models direct; we also have models who have worked on previous events coming back, we have a long list of interested models at the moment but happy to note you down!

Studio Flash Setup

Now that we have a full set of photographers for this event, perhaps each photographer could state what flash equipment they are bringing and what frequency settings they are using for wireless triggers.

On the last Hotel de Vie shoot we had 4 photographers using Elinchrom BXRi/Ranger flash with El-Skyport Transmitter Sport triggers. Fortunately someone had a printed version of the manual so we could all choose different frequencies. Otherwise, if we all used the default setting we would all be setting off each other's flashes and it would have been a nightmare.

My Elinchrom Skyport trigger is currently set to Channel 3 - the three frequency switches are down, up, down. If other users also have the same triggers, then perhaps you could read the manual and set your triggers and flash heads up before arriving at the shoot to different frequencies.

I suggest all the photographer gather in the hotel lounge around 13:00 to check studio flash setup.
