Zoe is a fantastic makeup artist who I have worked with on several shoots. Most recently she worked on a James Bond themed shoot testing her abilities at both end of the scale. Firstly, making our female Bond girls look incredibly beautiful, through to blood stained villains and heroes.

I Own Zoe lots of referrals but this is for the Jack the Ripper Shoot.

Zoe is a very skilled MUA, there is no question about her ability to produce great work when she does makeup. She is also a caring person and she worries and looks after our models. On our recent shoot after all the makeup work was done she was running around with blankets to help keep our cast warm.

Zoe recently worked on our studio’s Jack The Ripper themed shoot as part of a small makeup team working with a large cast of actors and models. Zoe never fails to deliver and this shoot was no exception helping to provide a suitable amount of gore to our two murdered victims as well as making up the rest of the cast ranging from street thieves, and drunk sailors though to Victorian Ladies and Gents. It was a challenging shoot not only due to the numbers involved and the complexity but also due to the unearthly hours and outside temperatures as we worked more or less to the original timeline of events 130 years ago finishing around 2:30AM on a September Sunday morning!

Zoe, as always, it was a pleasure to be working with you and I’m looking forward to the next one!

Worked with Zoe on a Jack the Ripper style shoot as part of a group shoot at Rochester Studios. She’s great fun to work alongside, with a very laid back attitude but has attention to detail meaning her makeup skills are fab!

She not only did a great job on making me look brutally murdered but she also kept an eye on me with blankets to hand whilst I laid on a freezing cold cobbled floor during the middle of the night and was there to hand to help take me straight inside once I was finished as I got bitterly cold and was shivering so much!

My second opportunity to have Zoe prepare my models for a shoot. The venue was Monte Carlo and beautiful clothing to match so the makeup needed to reflect this.

Because the journey from our base accommodation would be a couple of hours, Zoe got up extra early to apply her expertise and I couldn't be more happy. The journey and the heat of the day did not interfere with her application, such was the quality of her work, I cannot recommend Zoe enough.

Another underwater shoot and as always Zoe did her magic.

The task was to make naked roped up me with red nails look awesome and she did it with bells on. The contouring was excellent and the complimentary lips to match my nails was bang on - she is a magic worker.

A fantastic lesson with Zoe,

I have a few shoots booked where I cannot take Zoe with me, believe me if I could pack her up in my bags and smuggle her in with me I would. As a former Scout and Cub and little experience with makeup Zoe walked me though the basics and showed me through some tricks of the trade and gosh it made all the difference, by the end of the session my makeup looked awesome - all under her watchful eye.

Zoe came back once again to a very special shoot, combining Shibari and Underwater. The MUA's are very much an essential part of the creative team and really help to deliver amazing results. They can take cues from props or costumes and almost instantly come up with input for a great look. I can't recommend Zoe highly enough

What can I tell you, the lady is a legend.

Hard working and professional at all times yet lighthearted and huge fun. I never tire of her inspirational ideas and techniques, and left to "play" without a brief she produces amazing looks and effects. The future is stacked with opportunities for Zoe, full body paint underwater followed by a mix of surface and underwater work in Italy later this year. Zoe, you rock!

I met Zoe yesterday on an underwater shoot. I know she specialises in underwater make up and I can see why, she is so talented. She could do anything that day, from super beautiful glamorous to creating a puppet. I watched in awe. What I didn't expect was how really lovely Zoe is, I haven't done a shoot like this before and she was so kind and encouraging and made me feel like I had a friend on the shoot who was looking out for me. Zoe is one that delivers the results every time and I think perhaps that I slightly take her for granted, which I shouldn't. brilliantly capable both on her own and as part of a makeup team.
