I had a lovely shoot with John this week!.... We had arranged to shoot a fair way in advance but comms were perfect and we had no issues with details or arrangements, which was brill!!....

On the day John kindly picked me up from the station even though train station access is a nightmare!...

We shot at his little studio space in Birmingham and what a great space! I wish I had one!.. John was chatty and friendly from the word go... I felt like I'd known him for years so he made me feel really comfortable. We bonded over music and the shoot was all go!...

The shoot itself was really relaxed and we worked through a range of ideas... combining john's pieces as well as my own!..

We got some lovely shots and the shoot was awesome!....

I would definitely recommend John... hes very friendly, courteous, respectful and chatty.... And of course a talented photographer! :)

Thanks again John and hopefully we will get to work together again in the future!

I had a great few hours with John at his studio in Birmingham yesterday. Pre comms were great and he kindly picked me up from the station and dropped me back to my accommodation. John had a good idea of what he wanted to achieve and we moved quickly through a wide selection of looks, utilising both his studio and the corridor/stairs which yielded some lovely results. He was professional and laid-back throughout and I'd gladly work with John again. Recommended.

What can I say? John was without question one of the most professional, friendly and likeable photographers I and my partner have had the pleasure to work with!

John met us outside his studio and offered to help carry our bags from the car (there is a very convenient loading bay directly outside with ample time to unload) before giving us a tour of the building, studio and personal kitchen (inc. tea/coffee/biscuits and wife's homemade cake!) He then walked us to and paid for our parking round the corner.

He knows exactly how to capture the best shot and gives direction easily whilst working patiently with our spontaneity. He uploads the images to his pc at each interval and lets us peek at the images captured. If a problem arose with lighting, set etc he immediately came up with a solution and is a fantastic problem solver. His wardrobe collection is vast and John offered us the opportunity to use anything we fancied in addition to the costumes provided for our shoot.

I do not hesitate to recommended John as a professional photographer, his creativity and focus combined with his likeability make him an absolute gem in this industry.

Had my first shoot with john today and it went brilliantly! Arranging the shoot was easy as john replied to all messages and any questions i had regarding our shoot ,on arrival at the studio john made me & my chaperone ( brother) welcome with tea and biscuits :-) always a bonus ! We talked a bit about what we would be doing and got straight to work john was very kind to allow me to use props and clothing if needed , we got some great shots and id definitely recommend john and shoot with him again . I look forward to seeing the finished images :-) thank you so much :-) lovely man x

I had a fantastic shoot with John. He is a photographer who, despite his modesty, is extremely creative and a perfectionist. He is a lovely guy and a great photographer. I have shot with John many times over the past few years and always feel at ease and welcome. I highly recommend him as a photographer, he really puts the work in to get the best shots and is a great problem solver. Also, communicating and organising shoots with John is always straight forward :)
