xfocus photography

Hi There: I'm Clive, thanks for taking the time to look at my portfolio.

Name change: I have recently changed my display name from "Clive C" to "xfocus photography".

History: I have been a part time photographer since 2009 after doing an A-level in photography. I have worked as an assistant to the amazing Jon Gray on many occasions and have picked up many good tips along the way.

Photographic Interests: I have many interests including street, macro, stock etc but with regards to this site my interests lie with edgy portraits, nude art, erotic art, lingerie etc.

Shoots: Most shoots I have been involved in are between 2-4 hours with levels discussed beforehand. I'll never request the model to go beyond the levels agreed prior to a shoot or beyond the levels the model is comfortable with. I'm really laid back during shoots but also take my photography seriously so I work hard to achieve good shots. I do try to have a laugh along the way and listening to music during a shoot is always a good thing.

TF Shoots: I'd consider "time for" shoots for any reasonable suggestions if I think it is within my capabilities. Please see my portfolio.

Paid Shoots: At present I am trying to monetise my photography which is extremely difficult in the current climate. One genre that I have made a little money from is "open leg". Whereas a prefer art nude, open leg is where there is some money to be made, albeit not much :) . So if I can make enough to cover the cost of the shoots then I'll be able to do more future shoots. So if you are a model who works to this level and preferably has a location to shoot from then please get in touch.

Models: If you have tattoos and / or piercing I am absolutely fine with that. I like to work with models of all types but above all to have a fun shoot.

Travel: I am prepared to travel within 100 miles for most shoots. I'm happy to go further afield if the shoot particularly interests me :)

Other Stuff: I only shoot with models over 18. Ideally I would like a copy of proof of age (driving licence, passport, ID card etc). I will keep this info strictly confidential. I would also ideally like a model release form signed (although I don't think they're actually worth the paper there printed on, but have always been advised to do this). I will need a receipt for payment, but if you don't provide receipts I can just get you to sign something to say I have paid you (this is just to keep my accountant happy).

Reliability: So far I have been 100% reliable in that I have never done a "no show" or had to cancel at short notice.
