References for Worksop Photographic Studio (WPS)

Another great shoot at WPS. Thanks to Pete with helping set up the lighting, helping move the furniture around the studio and for suggesting using the projector with the window frame as a backdrop. Looking forward to trying this effect again on future visits.

My sincere thanks to Pete at WPS for his support and tuition in studio lighting, exactly what I wanted. He was with me whenever I needed him and disappeared when I wanted him to. The studio has great space and facilities, infinite possibilities with different shoot areas and lights and an Aladdins cave of props enough to fire the imagination of any photographer.

Parking was easy and plentiful, studio easy to find, even for me - although Pete did offer to send up flares to help my satnav. Thanks for everything Pete, very grateful and impressed, especially in booking Lola.Max for me.

I booked the studio on the recommendation of a model. The studio is easy to get to. I was welcomed by Pete with whom I had communicated with. He was very helpful. He assisted me in setting up the lights. He was also friendly to my model and offered refreshments. The studio is spacious. It has several sets with changeable backdrops. The flash heads are very powerful. There are plenty of props, modifiers and other items that will ensure your shoot at WPS is a success. I will be using the studio again.

Yesterday I had a shoot with Samantha Alexander at wps studio , the studio was warm , very clean and tidy .And has a variety of sets to use , and a vast selection of accessories to use.

I had my first group shoot at WPS in (eeek) about 20 years. The faces may have changed (some not others) but nothing else has. Arrived to a beautifully warm studio, was given an equally warm welcome and it just felt like home.

Pete is an absolute diamond, nothing is too much trouble and you just know you are as safe as houses there.

Along with the 'regular photographers' theres a reason why I keep using WPS

If you haven't been, you should give it a try. You wont be disappointed

Attended an outdoor event organised by the studio. Was made to feel welcome and at ease and given help as and when needed. Would recommend and would definitely use again.

It’s been a little while since I was at this fantastic studio and I was so pleased to come back for a 2 hour shoot. Pete is always so welcoming, chatty and is just a decent guy. The studio was cool enough as it was a hot day and I was given plenty of water to keep me hydrated. The studio has so many wonderful places to shoot. Lots of different backdrops, lights and sets. I really enjoyed my shoot with the photographer today especially using the bath and bubbles! Great fun! Pete is always on hand to give any help that is needed and I always feel safe working there. Fantastic few hours, highly recommended from me. Thanks Pete!

Not used this particular studio before but I am sure I will again. Communication was good and Pete was very friendly. He offered support if I needed it but then left us to get on with our shoot. Thanks again Pete highly recomended.

I'm shelly I've known Pete Dixon and his father John Dixon since I was 18 I am the longest raining model for roughly over 20 years and always been respected by Pete and John and by all the photographers I know there . I do occassionaly work for Pete and also do freelance and work at other studios . But w.p.s is where it all started and always have great shoots there 😊.

Pete approached me through purple port & invited me down to the studio at (WPS) for early morning test shoot & chat.

I was very comfortable & impressed with the set up & studio facilities.

I’m now looking forward to working with Pete in the future & maybe taking some booking for future Studio work with other photographer.

Had yet another great shoot at the excellent WPS yesterday. Pete, the owner, supplied us with three lovely models each with their own style and character. A variety of sets and lighting arrangements were used and the atmosphere was convivial and friendly. I have visited the studio (which is over 100 miles from my home) for nearly 25 years so they have to be doing something right! Highly recommended to all photographers and models.

Had a great couple of shoots at WPS last week. Pete made me feel at home straight away . He was there to help but never got in the way. He has great lighting which was easy to use and as a result I got some great shots. Highly recommended!

I've just had a great shoot here with a vintage theme. Pete was very helpful and welcoming, moving things around for us. The studio has several great sets and backdrops - and space to use them in - definitely recommended.

This is such an amazing studio and the owner is an amazing person , so friendly . You will be spoilt for choice with the superb sets , back drops .

Nothing is too much trouble and straight away apon arrival are instantly made to feel welcome.

I most certainly can't wait to come again with Alan 48 who is equally as nice

I had my first group shoot at WPS and it was amazing, Pete and everyone that came were lovely! I felt at ease straight away and comfortable.

It is a great studio with a number of different sets, I would highly recommend working here, an amazing place with a great owner! :)

I was contacted by Pete to model for the Killamarsh camera club yesterday and upon arrival i was greeted by Pete who is a lovely guy, a real gent, who showed me around his awesome studio, there was loads of setups offering fantastic backdrops for photographers. It was effeminately one of the most easy going shoots i have done. the Pre coms were superb and Pete really made me feel welcome.

I would definitely recommend booking WPS for group shoots and photo shoots for a warm friendly professional environment for new and experienced togs and models.

I will 100% be shooting her again and really enjoyed meeting Pete and The KCC.

Lovely shoot today at WPS with Joceline. I arrived early and had a chance to have a brew and a chat with Pete. I'd not met Pete before but I received a lovely welcome, and I cant imagine anyone more helpful and ready to offer advice. Pete clearly has a passion for his photography and we chatted around the various genres that he shoots. The studio is an amazing facility with lots of original sets and props. There are plenty of lights allowing easy movement from set to set. Happy to recommend to other photographers. I look forward to my next visit.
