John Evans

John Evans has been interested in photography since watching his father at work in his darkroom in 1963, his interest in erotic photography is a little more recent.  For the past few years however John has been making up for lost time, “so many women to photograph and so little time!”

John now spends his time between shooting in the studio and planning trips around the world to photograph beautiful young women in intriguing locations. His intimate studies of the female form focus on the way light caresses skin to sculpt the image of the women in front of the lens. His studio nudes aim for simplicity and directness to convey their message to the viewer, while location work looks for contrasts between the softness and vulnerability of skin and human form and the harshness and danger of natural or derelict spaces.

All his work is now produced digitally with post production kept to the minimum required to produce the final image in a clean a simple form.

John’s work has been exhibited and published worldwide. His images have been used on book covers, both in Europe and the US. His aim is to continue refining his craft to bring his work to a wider audience.
