I sent a couple of pictures to William a couple of days ago because I though he could help me create something really special out of them. And he effectively did.

He quickly produced beautifully striking images and he really took into account the couple of comments I made. Communication has been perfect.

I answered a casting call from William about retouching some of my photos so he could use them for his webpage. I sent him a handful of images that had been sat on my hard drive after long ago shoots and which I had not yet bothered to process, mostly because I had already achieved the shots I wanted from the set and I didn't, at the time, have the skills to do those particular images justice.

Overall, I was very pleased with what William did with those images. He interpreted them differently to how I might have and this meant he got a different result to what I would have achieved with them. He managed to add a lot of depth and detail to the images and made them stand out a lot more.

Less than a week ago I was contacted by William asking for a collaboration where he would edit one of my favourite photos of a beautiful model who had caught his imagination, sadly no longer on PP. Having never worked with a professional retoucher, with a sense of slight trepidation I agreed. The outcome was a reworking of the photo which I would never have imagined, transforming an innocent look into a truly glamorous one.

After discussing my other work with the same model, by far the most amazing outcome of our collaboration was a further project where he edited a series of images on a particularly sensitive subject (a violent assault) and presented them in his website. The subject content is outside of the limits of PP and certainly not for the squeamish or feint hearted, but for 4 days William worked at all hours of the day and night to present my images, enhancing them in a manner well beyond my capabilities. The theme is not 'horror' in the normal sense of the word, but it makes clear how horrific violence can be. I am truly grateful to William for his willingness to share his professionalism so that my images could be made public, retaining their artistic integrity while making a powerful social comment.

I am looking forward to further work with William and cannot recommend him highly enough.
