Wille Sahlén

I am a Swedish professional photographer and filmmaker born in Bangkok, Thailand. When I was 5 months old I was adopted to Sweden where I have lived most of my life. Along the way I have also spent a few years in the US and in Thailand but now I have been living on Madeira island, Portugal since 2018.

I have worked professionally with photography and with film making for very long time. I like to create unusual situations in unique environments with daring characters, with an artistic and somewhat enigmatic narrative.

Even if I have already found my own style, I'm always open minded to new ideas and visions. I do studio work but I prefer to shoot on-location because it provides a wider range of environments.

Based on my own ideas and visions, I try every year to arrange a photo exhibition, which offers a unique visual experience beyond all limits. My exhibitions can take place anywhere in the world. It depends on where I think the audience for that particular exhibition is located at that time.

I am willing to travel around the world to realize and perpetuate my ideas and visions.
