First time working with Douglas, he is a lovely man. Very funny. We got on very well and he had lots of fun and new ideas, I'd never done before. I was quite interested in giving it a go.

It was a success and we all got a good laugh out of it too.

Would highly recommend Douglas for sure. He is very catering and a gives lots of reassurance and a kind hearted gent.

We battled the cold and muddy conditions but nothing was a problem, we shared equal enthusiasm for the task at hand ensuring both of our inputs were heard.

I fully recommend Douglas if you want a tog that’s passionate but chilled, gets the shot but is fun throughout then he’s your guy!

Not a dull moment was had well apart from the weather 😝

Douglas responded to an ad I placed on PP for a retoucher that I could collaborate with and Douglas kindly responded. He was able to promptly turn around some images I sent him to experiment with and he produced some fabulous results. I would have no hesitation in recommending Douglas as a competent and professional retoucher who can be relied upon to turn around quality work very quickly and I look forward to working with him again.

I approached Douglas to edit an image that I required some retouching work done on, and he got onto it and had a 24 hour turnaround with two edited examples - there was some very tricky retouching needed done, and he managed to do it for me. I recently put out a casting call requiring the help of a re-toucher for some old photos I have that needed editing. The photos were fairly low quality, but despite this, Douglas did a wonderful job. He has given the photos an extra boost, to make them more appealing to the eye rather than just raw images, and I would definitely recommend others to work with him :)

I highly enjoyed meeting and working with Douglas for the first time doing a lovely location shoot around Perthshire. Douglas had scouted a fab wee location that was perfect for doing an art nude, fairy and snow white look also experimenting with some smoke bombs I had brought along.

Douglas arrived on time to pick me up at my home in Perth also kind enough to drop me off again, we traveled to the location we were shooting at, our shoot absolutely flew by and Douglas was so respectful and a complete gentleman. Giving fabulous direction and very patient with me when getting changed and warming up between poses as it was an extremely cold day. Also bringing along some props and outfits for us to play around with so between us both we had loads to choose from. He even brought along an apple and some other bits and pieces.

A very professional photographer with lots of great ideas, always making sure his model is happy and safe and he is so fun to shoot with. We produced some excellent images together and I can't wait until our next shoot.

So friendly, kind, easy to work with and highly recommended. You will walk away with a smile and some excellent images. Do not miss out on a shoot with this high spirited, creative photographer and lovely person.

I was a little bit worried about hitches with last minute communications/deposit because Douglas was new to the site and coming all the way from Scotland and we didn't have much time to sort things out..

But it all came good and I'm pleased to say it was a great shoot.

Professionally- good ideas but flexible about executing them, works WITH the model towards a goal, totally respectful in attitude
