I have been taking portraits for well over 20 years, originally on roll film and printed in a darkroom situated in the loft. Now like most people I have moved to digital and I no longer have to clamber up into the loft to process and print, that can now be done from a comfy chair. My portraits are shot using natural light, studio lights or a combination and some new portable lights will help me to do this almost anywhere.
