My first shoot with John at Silkwood Studio was a very productive, enjoyable experience.

John is a lovely person; very easy to get along with, so much so I felt I had known him forever.

Pre-communications were second to none. John was very descriptive in regards to the aim of the shoot. A vintage theme was decided upon and John left the choices of outfits and props up to me which I appreciated as this gave me the feeling of a collaboration which I always prefer, of course. I felt like my ideas were listened to and taken on board.

John is respectful, patient, professional in his approach and very keen on improving and doing the best job he can which I feel is reflected in the results.

John was also kind enough to give me a lift there and back which helped me out.

I would happily work with John again and a second shoot is already in the offing

All in all, highly recommended by me.

Had such an awesome vintage themed remote shoot with Whiskeystar. Using canon utilities and screen sharing tools on zoom John was able to control my canon camera and settings from his location. After the shoot I sent over the raw files for John to edit via Dropbox.

Prior to shooting communication was absolutely excellent and I loved all the themes that this photographer had come up with. Everything was so carefully planned and with remote shoots this is just what you need.

On the day of shooting John connected promptly to the shoot and everything went so smoothly. He was super relaxed, easy going and patient as well as I moved backdrops and lighting around.

I was amazed at how promptly caught on with the remote software as well as it was his first remote shoot. We were flying through so many different themes and looks and overall we had such an awesome time.

I was so pleased with the results and they were all really in focus super sharp and post processed to perfection!! Just class. I hope that one day we may be able to shoot together in person.

I had my first shoot with John in my flat in Leeds and hopefully we will have more shoots to come! :))

John was a real pleasure to work with and to communicate with! From the very beginning he came across as polite and friendly and that's exactly how he conveyed himself during our shoot :).

Our shoot was so relaxed, enjoyable and fun! We had a few outfit changes while chatting & laughing a lot. John has got a great sense of humour, so I ended up laughing a lot which was a bit tricky when I was about to pose :D! I guess that's what makes a shoot enjoyable and fun!

John was incredibly respectful, kind and easy-going throughout our shoot. We worked together really well and created so many beautiful images! :)
