References for Alan Wheetman Photography

My first time working with Alan and something very different for me indeed.

Initially when Alan stated his interest in collaborating together I wasn't too keen as not something I usually do.

But after reading his in-depth messages full of passion for his art & what he wanted to achieve, I simply couldn't say no, it was too impressive!!

Alan is very passionate & creative which I admire as that's usually me. But this time I could relax as Alan & his lovely wife had everything under control and once we knew we were shooting together..he got busy creating a magnificent costume for me to wear/model including a blood splattered knife.

I must admit the idea was very impressive but I was worried about looking very unglamorous not my usual self. But once I got into costume I quite enjoyed channeling the character that was required.

Pre coms from Alan were perfect very thorough and informative.

Alan and his wife on the day were quite lovely, really great people to work with & looked after me well while in their home..ensuring I was warm enough keeping the heating on when needed ..watered and fed too!

The photos on the laptop looked Amazing and I can't wait to share one tomorrow

Alan is very knowledgeable about photography and the technical side of it all a true professional with a real flare for art/photography

I have had the pleasure of working with Alan recently, and he made the photoshoot a memorable and enjoyable occasion. He was polite, approachable and someone you can have a laugh with. He even took some time at the beginning to get to know one another a little bit.

He offered his expertise and guidance, providing valuable advice on posing, lighting, and modelling in general. His knowledge and experience in the field of photography was evident, and it gave me confidence that I was in the hands of a true professional.

Another great shoot with Alan. This time on a 'covered in honey' shoot at my studio! Alan was great fun and helped make this very sticky shoot really good fun and enjoyable. He's uploaded some fab images and I look forward to the next time we shoot.

Had a great shoot with Alan, was very friendly, gave me great guidance and advice when it came to the shoot and made me feel very comfortable. He also took the time to get to know me before hand and to have discussions about what we both wanted to do which made the shoot a lot easier and more relaxing. What a wonderful guy Alan is. This was my second time working with him and it was equally as awesome than the first! This time he joined us on a Chris Conway event and bought plenty of fun along with his camera. He was respectful towards me and others within the group and the exact type of photographer you hope will turn up on these events. He was a real credit to the group and I absolutely loved modelling for him. Ive been enjoying seeing all the lovely pics go up and hope to have the pleasure of working with him again in the not too distant future :-) 100% recommended by me!

I worked with the wonderful Alan recently on a sunset lake shoot run by Aura studios (Laura Draycon), modelling alongside Tillie Feather. I’d worked with Alan once before at The Loft so it was great to be able to get the chance to shoot with him again.

Alan is so fab to work with, he’s a very skilled photographer and quite particular in his direction as well as allowing you to free flow into various poses. He is friendly, open, laid back and down the earth.

Alan created some beautiful images and the edits I’ve seen so far look amazing!

Alan is simply brilliant to work with, we have done 2 shoots together now and I have always enjoyed Alan's company, manner and his photography. Alan is super easy to work we with, fun, great company and professionl throughout. Its been an honor to have him on 2 of my sixties\Bardot events now, being a great part of the team on both shoots, producing some amazing images along the way.

I am so pleased to see Alan join purpleport and share his images. Back last year I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with him on a Carla Monaco sixties event that I was doing with her. Alan was an absolute joy to work with and very memorable for all the right reasons. He was fun 100% respectful and worked well within the group setting. I worked with this wonderful Man at The Loft studio on a shoot secretly organised by his wife for his birthday.

Alan was so fantastic to work with, such a friendly, open and warm person.

I really enjoyed our shoot, we had many interesting, insightful and fascinating conversations about things I am deeply interested in. Alan is a strong photographer and knows the light very well but he was also happy to fully collaborate with me, hear my ideas and suggestions and together we created some stunning images.

His post processing is also excellent and exciting! Ive loved seeing the images he has produced and I even put one on my portfolio (very rare as I have quite particular tastes!).

I would highly recommended him and I really hope we get to work together again.
