I met Matt the other week at a shoot organised by Greg (Somersetman).....

A clear and organised group message was set up and even though the shoot was relatively last minute, we had time to establish and discuss ideas beforehand.

Matt was a pleasure to work with, he gave direction yet allowed me to pose freely. He was very focused, friendly, professional and easy to work with......100% recommended.

Worked with matt for many yrs now, he's an amazing photographer with just that eye for detail. His work just specks for itself really. You always feel comfortable and relaxed when working or collaborating with mr webb. He makes every shoot so fun the time passes so quick. I believe it takes 2 to make a good image but having a photographer who will let u expand on ur own ideas find new ones we r never stuck for ideas. I cant wait yor my next shoot with matt next month as we have some amazing plans. To any model needing that wow factor photographer who will make u look like ur best version than West172-Photography is definitely someone I'd recommend. U will always walk away loving the images you have done.like magic when his lense goes off... cant wait for next shoot thank u matt x

Edited some photos for Matt last week of the fabulous KatyB. The image quality and make up was of such a high standard, it was difficult to decide what to do with them. Hopefully i'll get to work with him again in the future

This was not my first shoot with Matt and hes a photographer I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Hes brilliant with ideas, brilliant with giving feedback as he looks through the photos during the shoot and hes a very easy going man who is guaranteed to make you laugh at least once during the shoot. Greg (Somersetman) was a helping hand on this shoot and we are grateful he let us use his studio, these two together are a absolute brilliant team. Cant wait to see the images! Thanks Matt.

I've known and worked with West172-Photography many times years now. I love matts creative eye for detail and getting the right shot. Everything he does is individual to each model. He's amazing time work with. We throw idea bk and too. And never short of ideas. We have many shoots planned still. And cant wait to see what we come up with next. Not only is Matt ano amazing photographer but a wonderful person too. And any model wanting to shoot with him or looking to build a portfolio of would highly recommend. I did a shoot recently! Wat an awesome photographer! He's really friendly! Good at directing and definitely knows his stuff with the lighting ! Matt is great to get along with and a good laugh I would love to work with him again! I highly recommend booking a shoot with Matt x

Did the hair for a group shoot with matt and it was epic, on the day matt was very good, set up and was ready for the girls promptly, he gave direction where needed and gave praise to the girls. The pictures were returned within a few days and I was amazed, they look great and I'm so glad to have been given the opportunity to have hairstyles I did photographed by this man, he really brings out the best x

I had a shoot with matt last week and it was so much fun the time flew by. Matt had some great ideas he wanted to put in to practice and the results are awesome and exactly what we both wanted to achieve.

Matt is friendly with a great sense of humour and helped me create some great poses in the box.

I would highly recommend him to any model. And I hope we can work together again and create some more awesome images.

I had my FIRST EVER official Pin up shoot with Matt.

He was a total sweetheart! He made me laugh and feel 100% at ease. I was due to work with another 2 photographers that day and the session with Matt set me up for the day with confidence AND genuine excitement.

The images were great and I can't wait to shoot with Matt again xx

I had a shoot with Matt Sunday and what a great shoot it was! He was very friendly and easy to work with the hours we spent shooting flew by as I enjoyed myself that much and loved getting messy and creative with paint, he came up with very intresting poses for me and had the opprrtunity to be creative with my makeup and loved the chance to express myself with makeup as I havnt before, I can only give my highest recommendation thanks for a great shoot Matt :)

Ive just got back from a shoot with Matt involving bodypaint and motorbikes, and I loved every second! Matt instantly makes you feel comfortable with his sense of humour! He has a keen eye for body lines and shapes and I found his direction very encouraging. He is very passionate and enthusiastic and I cant wait to work with him again!

Myself matt and 4 other photographers recently attended the speakeasy swing dance event.where I got to assist matt and the other photographers and help them thoughout the evening. Normally I'm the other side of the lense. But I have a new found interest and total respect for the hard work that goes into our amazing images. I have worked with matt west172 many times now. We recently collaborated on a group shoot. Where I also got to shoot with matt one on one. I always find shooting with matt a real pleasure. We have a real giggle from the minute we start shooting. Matts passion for creating the right image speaks for itself . I find he captures me perfectly . I always leave the shoot feelin very happy.I highly recommend west172 to any model or photographer wantin to collaborate .we have a few shoots lined up .and I much look forward to workin with u soon thank u again
