Warwick Payne

I'm based in Southampton and spent a decade as a regional newspaper reporter and frequently took images while on assignments ranging from current affairs to rock concerts. My images have previously featured in several publications including The Hampshire Chronicle, Daily Echo, and Romsey Advertiser.

I now work primarily in public relations on major housing, infrastructure, and environmental schemes. As a result, I have a keen interest in architecture and I like to experiment with monochrome on famous landmarks, normally with a Nikon L810, though I have used other cameras. 

I also have a passion for taking pictures of classic cars and love the Goodwood Revival, capturing action both on and off the track. I also visit Thruxton Circuit near Andover where I have driven Jaguars, Porsches, single-seater 350cc go-karts, and Formula Renault racing cars on track days.

Aside my 'day job', I'm a published author with several books in print, which are mostly crime and espionage novels. On that note, I'm seeking suitable models for a promotional campaign for my next book which features several daring and glamorous spies, which prompted me to join Purpleport.
