Shot with this amazing man on Friday... from the first message on PP he was a true gent, ensuring I was 100% happy with all the level he wanted to shoot to. On meeting him he was just as lovely, very professional but very friendly and made me feel completely at ease. Not only this he can also take a dam good photo! An all round top class tog who has made it effortlessly into my top 10! Shoot with this man you will not regret it!

It's always a pleasure to work with Mark, partly as I feel we've become friends and partly due to his talents, and last night's shoot was no exception. He's a really lovely, chatty and creative guy, who loves to capture who a person really is-something genuine from you.

We tried something new in the dark area of his studio, and even though I literally couldn't see anything other than the lights we were working with, I still felt relaxed, and comfortable enough to explore different emotions. Thanks Mark for the new experience, and for the pizza! :)

We also viewed some images from a previous shoot, and he even gave me an impromptu lesson in editing and suggested I experiment with it, which I really enjoyed.

We're planning another couple of shoots which I'm really looking forward to. Highly recommended! :)

Once again, my shoot with Mark was fantastic. This guy is a real laugh, amazing at creating fab shots and every shoot we have just gets better and better.

Last night I had my second shoot with Mark and it was amazing! He is a really fun guy and we had a good laugh. We got some brilliant shots and I can't wait to see the finished images!

I had a great shoot with Mark! He is such a genuinely nice guy and I felt so at ease and looked after. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and has some great ideas.

Had my second shoot yesterday with mark and it was so much fun, had a total ball, the shoot time we booked just flew and before we knew it we were an hour over! Mark is a lovely guy, his studio is fab, can't recommend him enough!

Had my First shoot with mark and I have to say what a lovely guy he is. Straight away I felt comfortable around him and was relaxed befor we started shooting which is always good.

Instead of a standard let's try these poses Mark told me to just have fun and be yourself wich is what made the shoot so fun and relaxed.

His studio is small but it has everything you need to create amazing images ! So what more do you need.

We created some fab images. I can't wait to see them and defiantly hope to work with him again.

I would recommend him to every model new or professional!

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Mark at his studio yesterday. I was flabbergasted by the number of props and outfits he had, literally anything and everything you could possibly imagine!

The studio was truly fabulous, Mark was professional but relaxed in his approach and the four hours totally flew (and we even crammed in a dominoes!)

Had so much fun using the smoke machine and amazingly powered fan. We captured some great images and I cant wait to see them!

Totally recommend Mark 100%. Thanks a mill and look forward to our next shoot :)

I had a shoot today with Mark, and what a lovely man he is. I have never felt so comfortable and relaxed at a shoot.. some of the images we got from the day are my favourite images I have had since I have been modelling. He even ordered us Dominos!!! Lovely guy and really talented photographer :) I HIGHLY recommend working with Mark if you ever have the opportunity! Hopefully shoot again sometime in the near future! :)

We had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Mark as a band with instruments/amps etc at his amazing and extremely well kitted out professional studio. He'd kindly invited us to visit the studio before the event to discuss and plan, and even visited us in the recording studio a few weeks before to get a feel for the music and us.

Mark is a very talented, professional and lovely chap, extremely friendly, great fun and with great ideas. We feel very fortunate indeed to have worked with him for what will be our first official full band shoot now we're a 4 piece band. The communication prior to the shoot was excellent, regular and still is regarding the post work and a solo shoot we're planning (lucky me!). He was very patient as we set up all our kit, and worked with us with his own excellent input to create some amazing, versatile and atmospheric shots - altogether and individually. We really appreciated that he wanted to make sure we had what we wanted for promotional purposes from the shoot, and likewise we wanted it to be useful for him too. The 5 hour or so shoot went by very quickly, with set and clothes changes, lighting changes and we were all extremely impressed with his knowledge and approach. We are very excited to be at the image selection stage and I very much look forward to working with Mark and his sparkly eyes and laughs again!

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mark as highly as is possible to any professional or amateur models - he really knows his stuff and is very good at getting incredibly atmospheric and lovely emotional captures from even first time models (as some of the band were). He also has that fantastic professional approach to let models be themselves and to capture it excellently. Thank you so much Mark for a fantastic day and for letting me help out a bit with directing the others and taking a few pics, it was great fun! See you soon! :) x

I worked with Mark alongside fellow photographer cutter55 on a joint shoot at Marks lovely studio in Crewe a few days ago. He kindly organised the day and I had a fantastic weekend in the area! To add to the madness, the beautiful and adorable model: Bee25 popped in also. We had an amazing day together, shooting in a variety of different outfits and lighting set ups.

Mark is so down to earth, he instantly made me feel very comfortable and relaxed on arrival in the studio, with green tea on tap and kindly kept the studio super warm. A really lovely and thoughful person, he was fascinating to talk to when I arrived, covering the spiritual topics (a man after my own heart!), a really interesting soul with a tough exterior and a super soft core!

I loved the studio also- it was such a fantastic space with everything you could need and very comfortable, with fantastic props. Mark is very thoughtful and creates beautiful photographs, which show a true reflection of the models personality. I loved his warm up method of shooting which was basically to ask me lots of random questions and fire ;) We had plenty of entertaining photos! :)

We were lucky enough to do a relaxed ambient lighting shoot with Mark yesterday, at Colossus in Crewe, where our band Venus Rising was recording. Mark is a thoroughly lovely guy, really easy to get on with, very friendly, chatty and interesting. We met here on Purple Port and have been chatting for a while about music and other things. He suggested a shoot and communication leading up to it was really good, on here and via text. He is really helpful and pointed us in the direction of a live gig photographer when he knew we were looking for one. He's really encouraging regarding the music too, and inputted some great ideas regarding symbols yesterday, when we were discussing our band logo.

We had a great laugh in the studio and he got on really well with everyone there. He took some pictures of Dave recording drums, and general goings on and merriment in the mixing room too. He's also very kindly suggested we have a band shoot at his Crewe studio, which he has cleverly fitted out himself with infinity corners (if I've remembered the term correctly!). We're very excited to arrange a date with him at his convenience, and really looking forward to seeing the results from yesterday.

Just had a fantastic shoot with Mark. He picked me and my boyfriend up and he actually arrived early. He was very welcoming, with both hot and cold drinks offered. The studio is lovely and warm ( and has an awesome changing room!).

Mark showed me a different approach to photography/modelling. I really learned a lot about posing to compliment my face/figure, as well as using the lighting to my advantage. Mark is a genuinely lovely guy (with a great taste in music lol) and an even better photographer. The shoot was fun and relaxed, the time just flew by! I would highly recommend Mark. And would love to do another shoot with him!

This was my first shoot with Mark. Went to the shoot with a open mind and ideas as we didn't know what to expect as we didn't really arrange anything specific on what we were going to do on the day! Mark rang me to confirm and to get know each other a few days beforehand. he was very professional and kindly picked me up for the shoot. On the day we had lots of fun doing some 'basic shots' having a giggle and then we did some more challenging ones. was a great pleasure working with Mark, I learnt a different approach to modelling and he gave me some helpful tips. I am really looking forward to seeing the images. I would certainly recommend Mark to any new or professional models. Had a great location and studio shoot with markwalco. Very friendly and easy to get along with, allows you to be creative and suggest ideas! Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend working with him. Looking forward to our next shoot!

I have just had a studio shoot with Mark, the time flew by and before we knew it we had been shooting for 6 hours! He's very friendly, easy to get along with and gives great direction as well as allowing you to own it! Definitely going to be working with Mark again!
