Models If you are looking to set up studio days to attract local photographers or want to just use us as a good base for your shoots get in contact, We're always happy to hear from you 

Photographers If you are looking for somewhere to shoot that is friendly and offers a variety of back drops get in contact, we offer studio rental for 2 hours or more. Refreshments and Free off road parking available. The studio has lots of natural light (weather and timings dependent) with 7 metres by 2.5 metres of glass  frontage with diffused screening for privacy. 

New garden set with wrought iron gate and bigger brick wall effect back drop. Enlarged panelled room, now with dark oak planked floor with antique chairs and table to add a bit of class. Bedroom set we have bought new blue curtains to complement French style bed. Cobblestoned wall and rustic paving giving much more space to photograph model against 🤗😉 Lounge area, sofa re moved against cobblestone wall as backdrops. We have kept two old favourites ...Our blue mottled wall with antique sofa and the popular double distressed doors. However, we have now added a multi paned glass door on that run, to shoot into the bedroom area or into the panelled room area, should you wish to add a peeking type scenario to your photographs. We have also kept the dark grey wall for simple plain backdrop photography. For additional props we have I large white cane chair a small red antique chair, egg chair, rocking chair, Large steamer travel trunk and various rugs if required.

We are available to move furniture, should you wish to change positions of any furniture, help with reflector and just general help ... just ask.

We are continually on the look out for props to enhance your shoot. We want to make this your go to studio, for relaxed fun shoots with no drama -Terry and Kerry x

MODELLING/STUDIO DAYS: PLEASE NOTE TO COVER YOUR COMMITMENT WE ASK FOR 50% DEPOSIT WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR SPOTS WITH MODELS, THIS COVERS THEIR TRAVEL AND TIME ALLOCATED TO YOU. IT IS REFUNDABLE IF DECENT NOTICE OF NON ATTENDANCE IS GIVEN AND YOUR SPOT CAN BE RE-FILLED. OFTEN A MODEL WHO HAS TRAVELLED FROM AFAR HAS COMMITTED TO A STUDIO DAY ON THE PREMISE OF A WHOLE DAYS SHOOT BEING PROMISED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. IF THE MODEL IS A NO SHOW, WE WILL OF COURSE REFUND ALL DEPOSITS PAID. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ONLY HOLDERS OF DEPOSITS AND ACT IN GOOD FAITH FOR BOTH PARTIES SECURITY IN THESE TRANSACTION OF FUNDS. BALANCE EXPECTED ON THE DAY OF YOUR SHOOT PLEASE!

General Information about us ...Visions The Venue is now open so a brand new photographic location for creatives in Suffolk and beyond. We are situated approximately 4 miles from the town of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in beautiful countryside surroundings.

Away from the main house sits the studio annex, with multiple sets for lots of variation for your shoots one of those being a wonderful cobbled wall backdrop.

Included in the sets are:  

1. Antique love chair  2. Leather sofa with dresser as lounge set. 3 Bedroom set with two distressed doors that can be opened to view through or closed as a backdrop * We now have a French style bed with Toile de Jouy Headboard and footboard . 4. A plain grey modelling wall perfect colouring for lighting  5. NEW Garden set, Brick wall copy back drop, wrought iron gate, plants, ivy   6. A mottled blue wallpapered area  7. Good sized panelled wall area, with antique French chairs and small marbled table. 8. Egg chair decorated with flowers. 9. Vintage steamer trunk. 10. Private courtyard garden with table and chairs under a pergola cobbled wall backdrop, two large black gates.... garden obviously weather dependent.

We also offer use of some areas "within" the main house on request. Usually available, but it's best to indicate to us if you require these areas when booking so that we can ensure they are ready for you. 

Inside the main house you have use for shoots:

10. The Oak beamed pool room/bar  11. Oak beamed lounge with green sofas and 2 seater purple chair  12. Oak beamed Dining room with large polished oak antique dining table and chairs  13. Oak beamed bedroom with cast iron bed, the room also has a leather sofa, Please note that this bedroom has low ceilings so will be limited for tall models doing standing shots, however bed and sofa shots will work nicely.

We have plenty of  free off road parking available and of course try and keep you topped up with tea/coffee and biscuits.

Hopefully you will find us a friendly relaxed place to shoot. We try to be around to help if required,  moving props, sofas etc.,Obviously making teas and coffees and to help in anyway we can in making your shoot go as smoothly as possible. If you have any requirements please just ask and if we can help we will.

In the main house we have two impeccably behaved Labradors, that might want to just say hello when you arrive. Generally we keep them away from people as much as we can, if you have a fear or allergy to dogs please let us know.

Our Venue rates are £25.00 per hour, we ask for a minimum of 2 hour bookings.

For a small additional fee we can pick you up and return you to Bury St Edmunds station if coming to us by train as we are about 4 miles from the station.
