This concept is part of an ongoing project, depicting a dystopian future in which cyborgs are typically indistinguishable from humans.

These early tests focus on the idea of a cultural drive, as part of the Cyborg Integration Project’s Skin Deep campaign, to encourage pride in mechanical parts, rather than insecurity and shame.

Robotic parts rendered under lighting conditions similar to the original photograph allow for a fairly convincing composite.
