Hello, my name is Laura Jervis. I currently a freelance alternative model from Telford, Shropshire. I am 20 and currently living in Birmingham due to the fact I am studying my second year of Fashion Design at Birmingham City University. I have been doing part-time/freelance modelling for around three years now. As you can see from my portfolio I have been involved in a fair few different shoots to which I have gained a lot of experience from which has allowed me to gain more confidence and the ability to get more out of a photoshoot. I'm relatively tall and very slim with very long dark hair and usually follow the gothic, alternative style in the way I dress myself everyday. Not only have I done photoshoots for friends, but I have been involved in some professional photoshoots which i found fun and beneficial in terms of building myself in the modelling industry. I have one leg tattoo and only 3 piercings so it is really easy for me to take part in various different styles of the photographers choice so don't be fooled by the dark image. I can adapt that very easily. overall modelling and photography are huge hobbies of mine because I feel one can express themselves within an image whether they're in the image or behind the camera. Different body movements and camera shots excite me, being an artistic person myself, I even did photography on my college course so I understand what is to love by taking an image! I do not expect to be paid for photoshoots but I am open to all opportunities so feel free to take a look through my portfolio and send me a message if you are interested in working with me, like I said, I am open to ALL opportunities and am willing to discuss any ideas any if you have. RATES I'VE SET: up to 3 hours- £20/hour. 4-8 hours- £25 an hour. Please be aware I do not charge for dressing room or set up time. Only shoot time from start to finish. I do expect travel expenses to be covered by you as I do not drive. Im also not willing to go much further than Birmingham itself since I've only lived here since September......
