I had the pleasure of working in Velvet Goldmine Studio twice on my last visit to Brighton.

It's a really great studio in an excellent location - literally a 5-10 minute walk from Brighton railway station. Philip is very welcoming and helpful too.

I worked at Velvet Goldmine for the first time a few days ago, even though the studio is only round the corner from me... I don't no why it's taken so long to go there! Phil is a lovely and very welcoming guy, the facilities are good and I will definatly be going back soon!! Highly recommended!

I hired the Velvet Goldmine studio today, for the first time. I have to say that it was a very relaxed and positive experience. Phil was very welcoming, and easy to get along with. I'll have absolutely no hesitation in booking the studio again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I loved working at Phillips studio today, He was a pleasant man who welcomed us all warmly, despite the small space, it is very versatile, and he even set up a make up station for our MUA/H.

He was great making tea for everyone and made sure the studio was warm enough for me as i was doing a lingerie shoot, and helped whenever we needed him.

Shot at Philips studio with Jaideep today.... good place to work, I will be back!! Very central location so easy to walk the tiny distance from Brighton station, or from those coming by car there is parking available.

Love the velvet curtains but they can easily be swept back to reveal bare white walls for an instance set change- perfect for art nudes and boudoir.

Bonus points to Phil for having soya milk to put in my coffee- hurray!
