Ceri is amazing! I'm so so glad we finally got to work together.

If you made it as far as reading these references, you know how awesome his work is. What you might not know is he has a baffling amount of modesty/lack of ego going on.. genuinely has no concept of how brilliant he is.

Genuine down to earth warmth and excitement are the key notes for what it's like to shoot with this guy. Bring your A game for unexpected off piste ideas on location and he will take that and run with it, adding his own massive creativity and guiding you to produce some of the best pictures you've ever been in. An absolute joy.

I have always been a huge fan of Ceri’s work, so, when we got in touch and said he would like to work with me I was over the moon. His pre-shoot communications were brilliant and on the day he welcomed me with open arms and we chatted over beverages before starting.

Ceri provides excellent company where I feel relaxed, the day just flows by really nicely and the great images just keep happening! He is a lovely guy, friendly, funny, full of enthusiasm and most of all really passionate about the art of what he does. I admire his creativity, great eye for photo composition and I am astounded at such effortlessly magical results! Could not possibly ask for any more from a shoot and it was a perfect day :) We made a good team, I think and we have been discussing a further shoot which I am already excited about :)

I have been curious admirer of Ceri Vale's work for a while. Much of his work has a dark and unique style which I have been keen to explore.

When Ceri contacted me expressing appreciation for my portfolio, the conversation naturally began. We discussed some ideas befitting of the emotive and thought provoking images synonymous with Ceri Vale.

As with many great works, it was a while until the shoot came to fruition but well worth the wait. In aftermath of much brainstorming it was compelling to meet in person. Ceri is going through something of a renaissance with his work at the moment so his passion for trying out new ideas was immediately apparent.

The location for the shoot itself was Newport which to my surprise provided us with a great variety of scenes that complimented the suitcase full of contrasting outfits I had brought.

Shooting with Ceri was a remarkable experience and a great day out. There was no shortage of creativity. The only thing we ran out off was time so we have already planned the next shoot!

Ceri is highly recommended by me, so if you get the chance to shoot with him take the opportunity.

Well I think this is probably the 5th time I have modeled for Ceri and as always we had a blast. Ceri came to one of my studio days and we were both buzzing with ideas :) Ceri as always came fully prepared and was as bubbly as ever. We really like to experiment when we get together and this time was no different having a fish bowl on my head (with no fish and water in it I might add) hehehehe.

All the photos came out brilliantly and I am so happy with them. Ceri is so much fun to model for and I can not wait to model for him again. Hopefully we will not leave as much gap in between our shots as we did this time. 100% recommended :)

A great home shoot with Ceri. Love every part, it is so nice to work with Ceri as every minute is about creation! Already have a glance of works and feel excited about them. one hundred percent love everything- the ideas, photo quality, shoot process and small chat with Ceri. Definitely want to shoot with him many many more times in future!

Ah what can I say about Ceri? I've been very caught up in non-modelling shenanigans for a year now (time flies!) and frankly there is no way with my life being so hectic right now I'd come out of my hiatus for just anyone.

Ceri though? Such a special photographer. I loved working with him last year and I loved working with him this week. He's just so easy to work with - fun, confident, creative, great company and wonderful with direction, trying out ideas and bringing such a lovely energy and enthusiasm to the shoot that you just feel happy and comfortable the whole time.

I did worry about being rusty after not modelling for a while, but Ceri was brilliant at putting me at my ease and pretty soon it felt like it was only a couple of weeks since we last shot. He's a bloody fab photographer, I love his style (well ranges of styles as he's very versatile!) and I'm very happy with the edits I've seen already.

In short - Don't miss up an opportunity to work with him if you can, it's very very worth it. Thank you Ceri :D

Sorry for the very late reference! I had a fantastic day shooting at some lovely Welsh beauty spots with Ceri. We got on like a house on fire from the start and were bouncing ideas off each other for the entire shoot. Even in challenging lighting conditions, Ceri was full of ideas and ways to work around the light, and even bought me lunch after the shoot. Cannot recommend him any more highly. :)

I don't even know how I got roped into this, I'm a photographer not a model! But your reading correctly, I modelled, and quite frankly it was a great laugh. I don't really need to write how great Ceri's images are because the work here speaks for itself, Ive always admired Ceri's work. Was such a good day and I'm looking forward to seeing the results, things looked awesome on the back of the camera. Looking forward to future collaborations.

I had the upmost pleasure of finally getting to work with this legend of a photographer! The weather was dull and raining but didn't dampen our spirits or our creativity. I was given the opportunity to shoot in a fantastic location and time just flew by. I was given the freedom to pose but Ceri was clear with his direction when he had an idea. We weren't short of giggles, Ceri has an awesome bubbly personality and is professional. He is caring and I was made to feel at ease. Communication is flawless.

Unable to recommend Ceri high enough, he's super talented in what he does and generally an awesome guy :D

After wanting to shoot with Ceri for years and discussing arranging a shoot for a long time, finally got the opportunity to shoot with this incredibly talented and sweet man. Not only is he a superb photographer, but he's incredibly easy to work with, great at communicating ideas & concepts, and always willing to go the extra mile to get some great images. Love the results from our shoot so far, can't wait to work with him again, but most of all cannot recommend him highly enough! Thank you Ceri :) x

Lovely chappie is Ceri , this is the first time we have 'worked' together in as much as he had some of my outfits and disappeared with a young lady to a quarry the results i have seen so far in the back of the camera a really quite stunning , highly recommend :)

Second shoot with the bloody awesome Ceri!

Literally so happy with the shoot and have only seen a few back of camera shots.

This guy is spectacular to work with. Makes you feel totally comfortable all the time, and such a laugh!

Gets so excited, and his enthusiasm rubs off onto me! Love it!

I had a Great shoot with Ceri and He is always pleasure to work with!!! :)

We had very relaxed day shooting arround two different places. Ceri make me feel very comfortable, letting me express myself during the shoot which is very important for me. He is very friendly and professional at the same time. He has a Good knowledge of lighitng and also is very creative.

Ceri is not scared to try new, different things.... which is fantastic!I realy enjoyed the shoot, was great fun and we have some beautiful pictures.... He is also mega quick in deliver the pictures, the same Dayy!!!

I would Totally Recoomend Ceri to any Model , if you get a Chance to work with this artistic soul, dont wait!!! Thank You again for an amazing day!!! Love Domi xxx

finally....I've shot with Ceri and I'm soooooo happy.

I've been wanting to work with him for ages and when I was asked by Diego to work alongside him with Ceri as the photographer I had to jump at the chance. I drove 2 1/2 hours each way and I was not disappointed, Ceri was easy to talk to, great sense of humour (which for me is very important), very welcoming and made me feel at so at ease especially as I was venturing into a new genre for me, which I was initially quite nervous about (though I hid it well I think lol). It was an absolute joy to work with Ceri and the results are spectacular...I'm still giddy 24 hours later

Would I recommend working with Ceri? Of course, without any shadow of a doubt...if you get the chance you must!

Ceri is quite simply delightful and I felt at ease the minute I saw him. Not that I am never not at ease but he is a special person and it shines though.

Pre communications were great , we actually found each other away from this site and Id been a fan of his for some time so when he asked if I'd shoot it was a definite resounding yes.

Quite simply a fun relaxed day with lots of laughs, giggles, gregarious moments and the cherry on the top some fantastic shots. I found it a breeze to pose with Ceri and could have quite happily continued for much longer. The rain halted us but with another shoot or two planned I feel that the creative juices are just starting to flow.

A great experience was had, its not often I'm still buzzing a few days later, and I couldn't recommend more highly. On a professional level he is up there holding his own, on a personal level he is a 10 %er and it was a pleasure to have shared a relaxed and highly creative day with him.

I had an early morning shoot with ceri when I stayed over in cardiff. He was absolutely brilliant before the shoot keeping in contact via phone to let me know what was happening and what the plan was etc.

He arrived promptly at the hotel, and we shot some amazing stuff for an hour in there. The whole time I felt comfortable and at ease with ceri. We managed to chat about random stuff and was just a lovely atmosphere.

We then went onto the second part of the shoot. Thoroughly enjoyed this. It was at the beach (I was a bit ill so ceri was asking if I was okay etc)

And then we managed to squeeze a third location into the time we had as well

Im so pleased with all the images we got from this shoot! And I thoroughly recommend ceri and would love to shoot again soon!
