Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Steve came to Basford today to shoot with Storm Rose on her studio day. This was the first time we had met Steve and it was a pleasure to welcome him to Basford Hurst Cottage.

All pre comms with Steve were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed. He had previously shot with Storm so after a quick tour around they wasted no time with deciding what to shoot and where.

Throughout his time here Steve was completely respectful of our location and very happy to ask if he needed anything. He is polite, friendly and very easy to have around. We would have no hesitation to reccomend him and look forward to seeing him again soon. Thank you Steve!

Mercia Storm

Steve booked a slot on my duo studio day with Rosie Lea at Far Forest Studio and it was really lovely to work with him and meet him as it was our first time having the pleasure of working together. I'm very sad to see that he won't be taking on anymore shoots this year due to health as he is lovely to work with and got some excellent shots as well as made both Rosie and I feel comfortable enough to get some relaxed, silly ones too!

It was lovely to work with Steve again when he booked me and Mercia Storm for a duo shoot at Far Forest Studio last week.

Steve is always a delight to work with and I always look forward to our shoots. This time was no exception and we had a really fun, relaxed and creative few hours together.

It was Storm’s first time working with Steve and it was obvious that they had an instant rapport also. Unsurprising, considering how friendly and welcoming Steve is.

I’ve seen images from the day and they are beautiful, as always!

A fun two hours with Steve at my studio day at Far Forest last Sunday. We shot through a good range of sets in that time and created different looks at a casual pace. This time we shot high fashion dresses, as we have shot boudoir a couple times already this year.

Steve arrived on time and was friendly and chatty and it was enjoyable to shoot with him. Steve has also sent me over a good selection of photos too

I Had my first shoot with Steve at farforest ,

We arranged well before our shoot to do some lingerie- portrait and some sheer.

Steve is a lovely gentleman, very down to earth, polite respectful and definitely fun to work with.

His photography is professional,and with a creative mind.

Our communication was spot on all through the shoot.

Steve knew how to capture me in different angles, and wow - what l have seen so far, lm very impressed.

I feel like l known him for a good while, what a fantastic shoot!

Steve and I had a boudoir shoot at Penguin studios before they closed this month. Steve developed on the boudoir concept from the previous shoot and came up with some good ideas such as to use the fan on my hair. Steve is definitely getting more confident at 1 to 1 shoots and gives direction now when required. Steve and I kept the ideas flowing throughout the two hours and we had good chat and laughs throughout the shoot. Steve is always completely respectful to the model and studio. And he is always a pleasure to shoot with. I feel like I am getting to know Steve well now and I enjoy our shoot time together. Steve is a genuine nice guy and I would recommend shooting with him :)

We did 1-2-1 he was very helpful with direction when I needed it as I'm fairly new to modelling he made me feel at ease straight away.

Steve came to my boudoir day at Penguin Studios on Sunday. Steve was early to his time slot and arrived ready to shoot. This was Steve's first one to one shoot. I've shot with him a handful of times, but with myself and other models, Steve has always taken part in group shoots. Steve took to 1 to 1 well, and as he got used to the changed shoot dynamic, Steve's confidence grew alot and he came up with some really good ideas. My favourite was resting on my arms and looking over the chaise for example; I've seen the final image for this and it's made a really nice shot.

Steve was also open to my ideas and was very relaxed whilst shooting. Shooting boudoir, I felt completely comfortable in his presence. And we got some really strong final images.

Steve showed back of camera throughout the shoot and has shared final images with me. We are hoping to get back to Penguin in the next few months, to develop what we started in the hour slot. I've worked with Steve a good few times, and have enjoyed all our different shoots together, I think the Boudoir images have been our best ones to date too.

Definitely recommend Steve, lovely guy and respectful photographer. Thanks Steve :)

I always love working with Steve so I was so glad when he signed up for my latest studio day at Far Forest Studio.

The theme this time was Gil Elvgren style pinup and Steve had lots of fab ideas which led to some excellent shots. Steve was his usual wonderful self, and it was so lovely to catch up with him! He was also kind enough to share his images with me, something I always appreciate as it’s so lovely to see the final product 😁

Steve came to my Pin Up Group Shoot on Saturday. He arrived early and was ready to go. Steve was respectful of the protocol of the group shoot and fitted in well. Steve is very easy going and a relaxed photographer. He always takes great behind the scenes shots at Group shoots too! Which is an added bonus as like to see them! Steve has put photos on social media straight away and tagged me in them. Many thanks for attending Steve and for a great afternoon ;)
