First shoot at this studio. Great facilities and of course Chris Conway for assistance. A little off the beaten track but well worth the effort.

Had a shoot at SHP earlier this week of which the outcome was awesome.

Have shot at SHP now at least a dozen times (probably more) varying from 1-2-1 shoots, workshops & groupshoots. I already have 2 more coming up in the very near future.

SHP is a great place to shoot, plenty of space & equipment available for use & when needed theres always somebody there to help.

I must thank SHP for helping me out with my most recent shoot. Part of which was planned to be duo shots. After one of the models let me down SHP put out a casting whilst I was shooting the other to which a great model replied to.

Strongly recommend SHP to all, as I say I've got 2 more shoots coming up there.

Had the pleasure of shooting Amie Boulton at Studio Hire Plymouth. Excellent studio, Chris is friendly and helpful. Facilities are great too. Terrific choice of lights, stands and in particular modifiers, which Chris is continually extending!

Another visit to Studio hire Plymouth and another great success. By far the best equipped studio I've had the pleasure of working in. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner. I had a 4 day stint here and they were very accommodating and each time i go there is always new equipment. The studio is in the process of a new refurb which is to an excellent standard, definitely worth seeing! All the photographers i worked with were super happy with the studio and the variety of lighting facilities and studio space.

Highest recommendation from me and i look forward to returning in Feb :-)

Attended Chris' Kings Weston House workshop where he covered location lighting balancing ambient and flash. In 4 hours Chris covered so much ground from basic technical theory to more advanced and with several lighting set ups. Amie Boulton was our model who had a costume change for each set and posed beautifully and fluently. Aime is very good indeed and is so photogenic; beautiful and always creates great shapes and angles to capture.

I always enjoy Chris' events because there is opportunity to learn new techniques and to come away with some cracking images. Thanks Chris & Amie and team. If you get a chance to attend a future event don't hesitate and book. Great value as always.

I attended a portfolio builder session at Studio Hire Plymouth with Amber Rickard and Chris Conway.

Parking was easy in a nearby street.

Entry to the venue was simple enough and was greeted by Chris in a friendly welcoming professional manner.

Tea and coffee was provided throughout the evening.

Chris was very accommodating to each individuals’ need’s and he openly answered any questions with ease.

The evening was set out in a fair and viable way so each photographer had more than enough time and space to shoot the model (Amber Rickard). There were no restrictions for example with regards to me being the shortest as equipment was adjusted to accommodate my height, and triggers for each individual was provided.

For each set Chris shared the recommend settings which helped save time and faffing about.

The studio itself is very well equipped to an exceptional standard even with its new renovations going on this did not disrupt the evening in the slightest.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and the final outcome I feel was positive and successful for all involved.

I look forward to attending another event here.

Chris and Mike came up to Map Studios with Amie Boulton on Friday evening and laid on a pretty impressive studio group shoot. Six lighting setups, each with a very different look. Had a great shoot and got some really good images. I'll certainly be popping into their studio if I'm in Plymouth.

Fantastic opportunity to combine shooting the wonderful Amelie Alden and expanding my knowledge of low key studio lighting sets. And neither disappointed. Amelie was outstanding and Chris took us through a number of different lighting set ups that I will definitely try to replicate in my own shoots in the future. So, I highly recommend attending his workshops.

Spent a great few days down South again recently, predominantly basing myself at this studio once again- why? Cause it's the best in the area!

The effort that we all put into the events is unrivaled and it shows. Chris' lighting is superb and everyone will always walk away with amazing images.

I modelled for a group shoot held at studio hire Plymouth on Monday evening and as always it was the perfect place to shoot. Comfortably holding a group of people and the staff were at hand at all times. This studio is undoubtably well equipped so always fun to work in the studio as there is so much variety and..... its always warm which is a real bonus! Ive worked at this studio on many occasions now and can honestly say my favourite place to shoot :-) great staff, great equipment, huge dressing room. What's not to love!
