I am a former Maths teacher who has discovered the joy of painting. I especially love painting portraits in oils, although I occasionally use pastel, charcoal or pencil.
I usually work from photographs although I am now trying to work with models directly from life - it generally takes about 2 hours (plus short breaks!!)
I am in the fortunate position of not having to charge a fee, but I would ask satisfied customers to donate to the charity WaterAid
