It was amazing working with Steve. I was wearing the hijab during the shoot and Steve was very respectful and made me feel comfortable throughout the shoot. Created some beautiful shots. Would highly recommend working with Steve and I hope I do work with him again in the future!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Steve this evening in York we had arranged in advance.

Steve showed up on time and the communication was great from the start. Steve was very clear on what he wanted to achieve from the shoot. He was well prepared with a written out plan, locations and print outs of photos for inspiration. He even brought some outfits to match the theme he had in mind which were great. This made the shoot fun very smoothly for me as I knew what I was working towards.

The shoot was fun, relaxed and a great experience for both parties. I really enjoyed working with Steve. He was great company along with maintaining a high level of professionalism.

I would recommend Steve and I hope to work with him again.

Worked with Steve for the first time last week at a photography workshop organised by Mike Lester. He was on time, very friendly and organised and has a good eye for detail. He sent a good selection of edits through very quickly. Would recommend working with Steve to any other models, experienced or not.

A great photoshoot with Trainman! It was a studio group shoot themed Ice Queen. Trainman was as usual very professional, very friendly, easy to work with and full of ideas. It was a great fun and we have amazing photos from this session. I cannot recommend him enough!

Had my first shoot with Steve yesterday, he was kind enough to drive to my house for a home shoot, Steve arrived with ideas and photo examples and brought a good selection of gear(better to bring everything than too little) I loved the idea steve was going for it was different for me and it was nice to try something out of the norm, he was friendly and chatty and had humour which isn’t as common as some people might think. Overall a lovely experience for a first shoot and wouldn’t hesitate to work with again 😊

He is completely charming, professional, accurate in his direction, and creative in his outlook. He took a genuine interest in me and my ideas, and offered up a lot of his own too. Fantastic shoot today and Steve did not disappoint. He is a very warm yet creative and interesting person with lots of really quirky ideas, and I felt immediately at ease in his company.

I have worked with Trainman on many occasions in the last two years and, I have to admit, I should have posted more references! Whoever had a chance to work with him, can tell that photography is his passion- he loves the creative side of it, the brainstorming, creating mood boards, searching for location, excitement of planning and preparing something special. It gives a model sense of security as we know what we are doing, where, plus gives space to unleash her creative side and add a personal touch to the theme- he is so open minded, he's happily allow ideas flow and evolve. Always positive, relaxed and respectful. Always comes prepared, with interesting props or outfits to use, or gifts. I always appreciate seeing the unedited photos from which I learn a lot! Apart from edits, he creates composites, prints some photos out, created books and calendars, which are just amazing gifts! Trainman always pays for shoots, participate in any additional costs and helps models out when they need a lift. He will find amazing locations, hidden gems and make shoots even more special. I can go on and on. Amazing person. Talented photographer. I cannot recommend him enough! 100 % yes

I had a lovely shoot with Trainman at his local studio in York the other week while I was over up north for a few days :) I found him to be very professional, all communications before hand were very clear and he had a lot of ideas he was trying to achieve with a very nice mood board! I've held off writing a reference for trainman for a while even though we have done a few shoots together now, simply because I haven't been able to put into words how much I love this photographer!

So I'm going to try now 😀.

He's a truly wonderful photographer with such a brilliant eye for design, concept and composition. Some of the shots we have produced together have been truely stunning and most of the credit for that goes to him. A true and real photographer and very talented photographer.

He knows that I have some health issues which has prevented us from shooting on a couple of occasions and it's never a problem for him, he's never fazed by it and that helps me immensely as he knows I feel terrible when I can't shoot.

I feel completely respected and looked after on a shoot with him. We often stop for tea and rest breaks.

There just genuinely not one negative thing i can say about trainman, he's humble, funny, chilled, interesting, great to get along with and just one of the nicest, kindest people you could meet.

I hope to continue the wonderful working relationship we've built and do many more shoots together and work through all this fantastic ideas we have.

Thanks trainman for just being a great photographer and friend.
