The Musee d'Orsay is on the Rive Gauche in Paris. As well as the displays of artwork, sculpture and paintings there are traces of the former use of the building as Gare d'Orsay - a magnificent Railway Station. Just beyond the buffet is a room where you can get to the back of this clock face, and providing you have a suitable model with you, create a silhouette with the Sacré Cœur in the distance.
On the day we visited there was a long queue to get pictures, so I waited for my moment and grabbed a shot from one side. That's why the top beam appears tilted. I did think about 'correcting' it. But in the end I didn't.
