Bourdin created a series of colourful and sometimes surreal images for adverts in French Vogue magazine in the sixties and seventies. He worked extensively with Charles Jourdan to promote shoes.

This image is of course a montage, the three legged model never left the studio. I was careful to pick a day when the railway was closed. And in case you want to tell me that it looks like it was photoshopped, have a look at the original, which would have been taken on film. It looks just as photoshopped as mine!
