My philosophy and approach to photography is that each picture should tell a story. Sometimes it is a simple one, and other times it is deep, rich and complex. Over the years I have developed my own style, in which I try to demonstrate my philosophy. When I take a photograph, and process it afterwards, I try to get the best out of each shot, otherwise I do not think worth publishing.

I started with landscape and architectural photography, and more recently have started developing my interests and skill in portraiture and fashion photography. To build my understanding, I scan through magazines and try to deconstruct the images, and sketch out how the photograph was constructed, then practice these ideas in my own work. Using this method, I keep a record of both the failures and successes.

I am a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society.
