Well what can I say,I had another fabulous shoot with the very talented MikeGardinerPhotography. Mike booked me for 3 hours on my studio day at the art asylum in Weymouth. He was fabulous as I wasn’t 100 percent myself and he was kind enough to work around me. And help things be as relaxed as possible. From the start there was giggles and a great catch up. Mike is so easy going,and as a bonus a great photographer. I absolutely loved the styles we did together. We took some stunning images. Also just like our first shoot together…Mike is always encouraging me to doing new styles. Which is so refreshing and of course looks great on my portfolio. I absolutely love trying new styles and Mike is always up to the challenge. He always has amazing ideas for our shoots,so I’m always excited to work with him. I’ll look forward to working with Mike again very soon. I really love his photography and his personality. Very professional,kind and a great laugh. Highly recommend. X

There are way to many good things to type up and fit in this little box to say about Mike. What an awesome photographer. I’m always nervous but I felt at ease straight away. He helped me up the stairs with my whopper of a suitcase as well, bonus! He was full of ideas and we had so much fun, we got the best results and I love every image I’ve seen so far and can’t wait to work with him again. Could not recommend enough! I had a blast and he made me feel amazing! This shoot worked wonders on my confidence

Well yesterday was such a fantastic and wonderful day at the art asylum in Weymouth. I got the pleasure of meeting the amazing MikeGardinerPhotography and wow! I wasn’t disappointed! Mike is an absolute gentleman,very kindly met me from the station and walked me to the studio. Also very kindly helped me with my bags. Mike was an amazing host! Made sure I have plenty of teas and coffees on draft! I had such an amazing and different shoot with Mike…was so refreshing to try something new. We did some edgy fashion,with a beautiful suit Mike kindly brought. I also wore a harness and some killer heels. Was so totally impressed with the images he gave me! They are so sick! Can’t wait to see them when they are ready so I can share some with you all. Was so nice doing something different and Mike was definitely the perfect tog for that. Such a kind,friendly and thoughtful gentleman! Was kind enough to keep the studio open while I shot with another photographer after him to make up some more hours. Thankyou for everything Mike! You’re extremely talented and I’m so excited for our second shoot already! Highly recommended by me! 😊

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mike for the first time recently during my studio weekend at Art Asylum Reloaded (Weymouth).

Pre-comms were brilliant - he sent me his ideas along with reference images beforehand so I knew the style of the shoot and what items to bring with me. We had so much fun - I loved how creative we got with the outfits (he came prepared with the most amazing shoes, accessories and props which I loved wearing). Mike has a wicked sense of humour, he's incredibly professional and respectful and gave me great direction but also allowed me to give my own input and pose freely too. The photos he took are incredible! Highly recommended by me and would certainly love to work with him again in the future.

Bunny Moonshine

I had my very first shoot yesterday at Art Asylum with Mike.

A perfect gentleman, he met me at the train station and dragged my enormous suitcase around the corner to the studio. Right off the bat, I felt extremely comfortable with Mike. He is one of the few truly genuine photographers that has a real desire to create original art and have fun doing it. He has an extremely creative eye, an incredible understanding of photography and just the kindest soul.

On top of all this, Mike has kindly sent me all the photos from the shoot (watermarked) and has even agreed to edit some for me to keep.

To say this man goes above and beyond for his models is an understatement, I honestly cannot recommend him enough.

Models- snap up the chance to work with Mike. Photographers- his work and conduct is a shining example of how great shoots can be. I think the results will speak for themselves! 😁

I can't wait to see the final images and to work again in the future.

He brought some cool killer platform heels and outfits we put to good use.

Mike was friendly, funny, professional and he brought lots of ideas to our shoot, we got some really lovely pics, he’s very talented and a great photographer..

He brought lots of outfits and High heels to the shoot.. we shot for 2 hours which flew by..

I had my first shoot with Mike in Art Asylum studio, and OMG, I am so happy we started to work together! 🥰🤩 From the beginning, Mike described very clearly the results he wanted to achieve and set a clear task for me. It was much easier for me to understand what to wear and how to pose to create great shots. Mike is creative, fun, and different! Moreover, he is a truly awesome photographer who can set perfect lighting, use unusual angles to create fantastic shots! That's why it's so interesting to work with him. You can be weird and crazy, but the shots still look perfect! He has a style, and you feel like you're shooting for a high-fashion magazine. Actually, I think all his shots could be published in a very cool magazine.

I really admire all the crazy and fun ideas that Mike has. Also, I appreciate the freedom he gives me in posing and the opportunity to use my acting skills, which I miss sometimes. Mike is such a lovely and kind person. He told me so many nice words that made me feel very warm and cool! The whole shoot was so fun, full of laughter and creativity!

After the shoot, Mike was soooo kind to send me the photos that look absolutely fabulous. It's hard to decide what to post because you want to post all of them! 🙈 And I am sooo excited about our next shoot! Mike has already shared a couple of his ideas, and I want to bring them to life a bit. 🤩

I had a wonderful first shoot with Mike at Art Asylum Reloaded. He was there on time ready to shoot and we instantly hit it off. We both have similar attitudes when it comes to shooting; have a laugh and take some good pictures. That's what its all about, right? Together we got some really lovely images and i really hope to work with Mike again. 100 percent recommended.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Mike on a studio day - with precomms and ideas arranged beforehand so we could get right to work.

The images he captured were inventive, fun and oh wow have they been added to my portfolio. We had such a laugh at the same time, which made the time fly by!

For sure a tog I’ll work with over and over - can’t wait to see what we’ll capture next time.

Mike and I have been friends for years!! In fact, he was the first photographer I ever shot with!! So I dare say if it wasn't for Mike I might not be modelling at all!! High praise right there!!

I was so grateful when Mike agreed and arranged to come up to my new photography location Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with me (and obviously have a good natter!!) - We discussed lots of ideas for the shoot and very much wanted to run with a 'helmut newton' vibe - but with lots of other spontaneous ideas thrown in too!! During the shoot Mike allowed me to pose freely but was also happy to give direction as required. We worked through lots of different sets from lifestyle boudoir to art nude and Mike was also kind enough to indulge me and sneak in a duo shot with my fiancée!

The back of the camera always looked amazing and Mike pays really close attention to detail and lighting to really nail that shot!!!

I would absolutely recommend working with Mike and really hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Mike!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mike came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with studio owner Miss C. It was a pleasure to welcome Mike to Basford, needless to say he has been one of the studios biggest fans for a while!!! :P

Mike is great to have around, easy to talk to, polite and completely respectful of the location and the model. He worked hard throughout the shoot to capture some really incredible images!!

We would highly reccomend Mike and look forward to seeing him again soon!!! Thanks so much for coming all the way from Bournemouth to see us!! :D

This was my first shoot with the delightful Mike Gardiner. I have got to know Mike over the last few months through attending our local monthly social group. Mike is the most genuine of gentlemen, great photographer full of inspirational ideas. Mike puts you at ease from the start, doesn't push boundaries and still gets amazing results.

Mike and I have shot a few times previously but by far this was our best shoot today.

We absolutely nailed it.

Procomms as usual were very good with the constant swap of ideas. The original shoot which we planned morphed into something darker, but so much better.

We probably had enough costumes and ideas for 2 shoots over!

Shooting with Mike is fun and relaxed.

Some of the proof shoots received were absolutely astounding and do not require editing in my opinion.

Fantastic shoot.

The challenge now is to make sure the next one is on par if not even better!

What a guy!

He booked a slot at ArtAsylum Reloaded with me, and boy am I glad he did!

When Steve said he booked a slot, first thing i did was check out his portfolio, and i was excited from the get-go! I knew our styles would match so well, and i was hoping i could also bring something to his portfolio.. but its hard to not create brilliant images with Mike when you feel so relaxed and and energy in the room is perfect for creating cracking shots. He makes ya laugh without fail, his conversation is upbeat and interesting.. The time absolitely flew by!

His pre communcations were really good, he gave me a couple exmaples of what he was looking for and it made it easier for me to pack and be prepared for the things he was looking to shoot on the day. Steve already warned me waht a top bloke he was, and i know steve has a grreat sense of humour and utmost respect for models, and i knew Mike would also hold those values.

Mike really does know what hes doing behind the camera! He has some fab ideas, a really lear sorta vibe to his images which is a very "boss woman" type style.. right up my street! His style gives me Helmut Newton type vibe so i even did a little extra research beforehand!

I loved what we shot on the day, and they were all different but all still so edgy! He used the space really well in the studio, its like it was his second home@ (:P)

I really would love to work with Mike again, had to be up there with my favurite shots of the weekend!

A brilliant job!

Mike provided studio support for my recent shoot, at Art Asylum Reloaded, in the planned absence of proprietor Steve.

He is a regular photographer at the studio, knows how the lights work and, where everything is to be found. Invaluable! Oh, and he keeps the refreshments flowing. :)

Mike provided an extra pair of hands whenever they were necessary and gave welcome creative commentary whenever required.

His efforts made my shoot highly affable and productive.

Definitely recommended. I might even request his support again! :) Thanks, Mike.

Firstly, the way Mike and I clicked with our collective vision and fun conversation was amazing! I knew we'd have the best shoot the minute we started chatting.

In the kead up to the shoot we got clear on our visions, and Mike was so responsive and clear with communication. Super professional and just a little bit of a laugh too! ;) In fact, we've had many laughs!

The shoot was incredible. Mike made me feel instantly at ease, super friendly, had so many wonderful ideas and supported me with outfit choices and pose ideas.

He allowed me to roll with my creative freedom of expression, yet still professionally and very intuitively led when the time was right.

I knew we'd get some great images.. but they were on fire! Right from the word go!

I honestly cannot recommend Mike enough. So many amazing images, all the laughs, a super chilled day, and friendly professional support.

When the tog becomes your friend.. this is how I now feel about Mike :)

He was also super quick to show me unedited images, didn't post anything until he got my approval, and showed equal passion and joy from the shoot!

So much fun to work with Mike!

Had a great shoot with him at an Art Asylum model day. He was very professional from start to finish, excellently organised, and easy to arrange and communicate with; I knew what to expect, making the shoot go smoothly. Also had a lovely chat with him while shooting, he has a wicked sense of humour making things laid back but productive. We got through a number of creative sets together during the booking.

Highly recommend to any model :)
