We Love Marie (The "Scottish Lady" Returns) :-D

Welcome return to the portfolio of the excellent Marie (manager of the motel we stay in when up in Lancashire.) I did some headshots in our room a couple of years back and liked them. I thought it'd be nice to do some more, so I persuaded her to pose for another portrait. I found some great natural light next to a window in this corridor. I fetched a chair for her. She was taking some washed-up breakfast bowls back to the breakfast area and I though it would be fun to include them in the shot.

I've learned to be conscious of not getting sitters jaded by continually blasting away until the natural spontaneous feeling drains away. Therefore I set up and got things more or less right with Chris before we called Marie over and sat her down. In any case she's a busy lady. This was probably 3 or 4 minute shoot with just 20 frames or so shot whilst in conversation.
