One of my favourite shots. They both have great great faces, and I really like both their expressions.
I was casually strolling around with compact and 28mm equiv fixed lens when saw the lighting and these ladies chatting. I knew the scene would make a great portrait. They agreed to pose for a quick couple of frames only, so I was lucky to get this shot. I have not brought up the shadows as I wanted to keep the atmosphere of the Abbey and the rich dark reds of their robes.
