I worked with the incredibly talented and professional Russ and his beautiful wife/assistant over the last twoweekends and had a brilliant time as always! Russ has an amazing mind and knows exactly what he wants to achieve to create fabulous and sometimes wacky images! I could never tire of working with this perfect team and enjoy every minute of being in their company, whether it be sheltering under a towel in the middle of the woods soaked through or eating chocolate biscuits albeit on my own as neither are eating them at the mo! Thank you both for happy days xx

The pre-comms were perfect and I was instantly comfortable in their company. They were very hospitable and such genuinely lovely people.

Russ gave great direction and was professional in his approach.

I had a really fun shoot with Thornback two days ago. He and Stella were extremely welcoming, relaxed and made me feel comfortable and at ease...even with being sprayed with water and having paper bags put on my head!

Thornback is such a creative artist, I adore his work and love how his imagination works. He is a fantastic photographer and digital artist, and I am so excited by the intelligent and surreal images I have seen so far. As a person he is down to earth, professional and friendly, and he and Stella are a fantastic team, working really well together. Shoot communication was excellent and clear, both before and during the shoot. Really happy to be able to work with him, and definitely will jump at the chance to do so again.

I had an excellent shoot with Russ and Stella during my UK tour this month. They made me very welcome and comfortable at their house, and they were a great team on the shoot - helpful, prepared, and focussed. Russ knew exactly what we needed to do to achieve what he wanted, which made the shoot very easy despite difficult conditions and an early start. Moreover I very much enjoyed getting to know Russ and Stella and conversing with them over endless cups of tea. They are a great couple - kind, intelligent, hospitable. I recommend them very highly.

Had a fantastic shoot with Russ and Stella yesterday.

The pre-communications were fantastic; even on the initial proposal I understood exactly what was expected and offered, making the shoot itself so much easier. Russ was kind enough to allow me to stay overnight (long drive and early start), treating me to a pub meal and a bacon butty breakfast. Him and his wife are so generous, kind, hilarious and generally great fun to be around.

The shoot itself was great, Russ is so talented and Stella is a lifesaver, pulling every detail together - a great team. Very happy with the images. Thank you so much! I can't wait for next time.

Shoot today with Russ and Stella!

Today was epic and good fun from start to finish, really enjoyable, and some good images, hopefully these will turn out well and we will have achieved the different concepts fully...from nuns to flappers....I am still really excited about this shoot!! A bit different. :)

Russ was clear from the start with all aspects of planning, travel details (thank you so much for your help checking times and your reassurance) and remained in contact whilst the train was delayed today. I really appreciated this, and the fact that both Russ and Stella were so understanding.

The shoot was interesting, varied, and excellent fun. I was looked after wonderfully, being very fortunate indeed to be picked up from the station, made lovely cups of coffee and given treats for energy:) - thank you!

That Russ is an accomplished photographer, there is no doubt! With some suggestions, Russ helped me to achieve the best character/ fit that was needed for the shot. Russ is very passionate about photography too.

Was wonderful to meet Stella and Russ and feel very fortunate indeed to have do so.

This has to be one of the best shoots I had ever done. Russ and Stella are such lovely people! The shoot was so much fun it didn't feel like work! They are so laid back, relaxed and friendly I enjoyed it so much. I'm so glad Russ asked me to work with him as the images are amazing! Hes so creative and I hope we can work again.

What can I say, really? :)

Pre-shoot communications were excellent and by the time we got around to the shoot itself I knew we were going to have a great time!

Russ and Stella were an absolute delight to work with. They are a lovely couple, very professional but also easy-going and great company. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed throughout the shoot. Whilst not everything went quite to plan, Russ' creativity and enthusiasm meant that we managed to improvise and get (from what I've seen so far) some great shots.

Also, Stella makes the best on-the-go coffee of all time ;)

Brilliant team. I'd be more than happy to recommend them to other models and hope we can work together again in the future.

I don't know why I'm only the tenth person writing a reference for Russ and Stella (especially considering one of the other nine is from me).

They are both absolutely fantastic people and I have just had the pleasure of spending the weekend with them and their lovely dogs.

They are incredibly hospitable people - Stella made the 5am wake up almost pleasant with a gentle knock on the door with a cup of coffee and they made sure I was well few and watered. They are great company, have wicked senses of humour and are generally a great couple.

I love Russ's approach to photography and editing and I'm seriously excited not only to see how our images turn out but also where it goes in the future.

We've left it two years between our first shoot and this one but I'm going to make sure that doesn't happened again - already planning our next shoot in a few months.

I absolutely recommend Russ and Stella - they are both such beautiful people and the pictures ain't half bad either.

Had the pleasure of shooting with Russ on his recent trip to Cornwall, and it was great :)

We met at the location and began with some simple clothed and art nude shots, but I couldn't resist the lure of climbing the trees! He responded so well to my ideas and I was completely comfortable collaborating with him, especially as his lovely wife Stella came along to be a reflector stand, look-out, dresser and all round fab assistant - they're a wonderful couple!

His concepts are great, providing lots of rooms for experimenting with ideas and is really good company. Love the first image and can't wait to see the rest of the results once he's applied his formidable PS skills...

The day flew by, had such a good shoot that didn't realise how late it had got - thank you both for a great day, can't wait to work with you again!

Russ and i had our second shoot together yesterday, the first part of the shoot was outdoors in a beautiful woodland location, the second part at his home studio. Russ and his wife the lovely Stella welcomed me into their home and made me feel extremely welcome again. Russ is so respectful and thoughtful, checking i was happy with every aspect of his ideas for the shoot, he is so passionate about his work and his professionalism is exceptional! Russ is great to be around and I enjoy every minute of working with Russ and of course Stella too. We got some fab images and he comes highly recommended by me! Thanks again Russ ;)

Russ and I have been planning a shoot for a while now and I eventually had the chance to work with him yesterday and what a pleasure it was.

Russ booked me for two hours and we got on really well and covered a wide range of looks in a short time, Russ is really easy to get along with a great host and a true professional. We shot at his studio at his house and I immediately felt at home when I was greeted by his wife.

Russ is a lovely guy and full of ideas, I can not wait to work with him again and couldn't recommend him enough.

I had my first shoot with Russ on Sunday and it is was great fun. We had had to reschedule a couple of times due to my house move, but Russ was very understanding and patient! Thank you Russ! Russ is very professional and knew exactly what he was after which was fab as it was freezing! I felt extremely comfortable around Russ and his lovely lovely wife from the moment we met and look forward to the second part of our shoot! Thanks guys x

My first shoot with Russ yesterday. We had been planning to work together for some time but weather and general life got in the way so I was super excited to finally work with together. A ton of emails between us organising and throwing ideas around which was great so I knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. An early start and from the get go this was such a fun shoot. Both Russ and Stella were super professional, welcoming, kind and great fun to be around. I can't wait to work with him again and would recommend anyone to work with him. A great shoot and brilliant time. Thank you!! x

After thinking of murdering Russ when climbing up a hill at 5 am this morning, I quickly changed my mind once we started shooting. Russ is a perfectionist and very particular about what he wants to achieve. He is full of ideas and nothing can stop him to get there. Had lots of fun at the shoot and must send a massive thank you to his wife Stella. She was my light (by holding reflectors) and also functioned as my clothes hanger to prevented me from walking naked for miles to reach Russ designated spots. Absolute pleasure working with the two of them. Can only highly recommend. Can't wait for our next shoot. Thanks guys.

Did my first shoot with russ today and am really happy with the outcome he was vary relaxed and i really enjoyed the shoot he gave great direction and we got some really good images, i would definatly recommend working with him and cant wait to work with him again.

Had my first shoot with Russ recently, and despite the cold weather I had a blast! It really felt more like a family holiday than a professional shoot. We travelled to some fantastic locations and he already knew what images we'd be working towards, making everything more efficient. He was understanding of the affects on a nude model working in the cold, giving me time in between sections of shots to warm up and recover from the wind. Communication was excellent, and we promptly agreed more shoots in the near future. Recommended to everyone, he's a great person to work with as well as a lovely person to know :) very professional with imaginative vision and a good eye for an image.

Had the pleasure of working with Russ and his lovely wife/assistant over the weekend, they were incredibly hospitable, and Russ was exceptionally organised with his props and ideas, although he let me throw some ideas into the mix as well. He is also a really nice guy which is an absolute bonus.

From what I've seen of the images so far, they are fantastic!

Can't recommend highly enough.
