One of my favourite things to do when I’m overwhelmed is to sit in the shower and ‘think’ for hours. Something about the water hitting me is soothing, like my brain goes static and the whole world stops for a few hours of peace and thoughtless disassociation. My Ma always called me her little mermaid because I could sit in there all day, time doesn’t exist in the shower, only white noise and a blank screen. This picture captures it so beautifully and I must admit it is one of my favourites.
